Another one that baffles me

Maybe we’ll get an “that’s ova with” tweet like Woodland.

Kids are only seeing $ nowadays especially some of those with questionable NFL futures.

I'm guessing this has to be because of Guillory returning and McKinley climbing the depth chart.

Still doesn't make much sense though, but none of this portal BS does.

He improved down the stretch, but I don’t think it justified him leveraging the team for a higher number this year.

makes room for more time for these big freshman lineman to get some PT. Would like to see what Zion and Brandon Brown can do.

Some of them, there's nothing that we can do but laugh at. This guy, like Woodland, at a position of need, and would likely be in better position to play more next year if they improve.

Like I told my daughter the other day after she only played about half of her basketball game. "Make it difficult for them to take you off of the court, when you do that, you will play more." She played about 65% of the next game and scored half of the teams points.

That one is one of the least baffling to me. In general, I thought LSU used the personnel they had about right. But Suggs didn't get the playing time he deserved IMO. I didn't count the snaps for interior DL but seems like he didn't get as many as he should have. I don't know if this is a money deal or having a resume that is more extensive for the NFL.

I think Suggs is more about playing time. Between Breaux, McKinley, and Guillory coming back plus the big fellas coming in he may be looking to get on the field more.

It has become a real challenge for teams to have quality depth at positions. Might as well just go to 53 man rosters like the NFL.

Like you said, IMO.
I’ll go with Coach Bo’s take on who should be playing and how much.

He can withdraw and rejoin the team if no one picks him up

So let me get this straight, he got an opportunity to play in the SEC because his head coach's son did him a solid, and now he wants to leverage more money? We are teaching some awful character traits with this stuff.

I tried to grab him to keep him out of the portal but I was going to have to use my Dr Pepper hand.

Sorry guys.

True, depth is becoming an issue for nearly everyone. Even a defense like Georgia, as well as they recruit and develop defensive players, isn't the same this year because they don't have the real quality depth they used to enjoy.

I don't like losing a guy like this. Comes in from a small school, takes time to adjust, gets better and provides a much needed rotational player, maybe gets more time this year at a position LSU really needs...then he's gone.

Well, he obviously has to be replaced, either through a similar guy in the portal or a freshman. Then the process begins again...adjustment, development, getting more reps, etc. Before you know it, another season is over, another year that "could have been" if the Tigers had more players, more experience, etc. Just seems to be an endless cycle.

This is a strange one. He looked like a beast when the coaches actually played him, but they didn’t play him much for some reason.

It sucks because OL and DL are both areas where you can never have too much depth.

If that is the reason, because other guys are staying, then I guess he wants to go where he does not have to compete for playing time. Good luck in life kid.

I liked the "push" he got against the oline, but maybe he wasn't getting enough PT to satisfy him
