Awesome. The only thing I didn’t like about it was the music. Kid is going to be an animal. Can’t wait.

Looks like he comes from a really good family, respectful and willing to put in the work; he has freakish quickness for his size. What's not to like.

Hopefully he wrecks havoc.

T Moss was the best TE LSU has had in a long time...could block, good hands, ran good routes. But he was not exactly speedy or agile which is why his YAC was pretty poor (except on a totally busted coverage in OU game). Gilbert has all of Moss' good points and he can flat out run!

If he played defense in high school...there’s no excuse for him not to become a good blocker

when natural talent is paired with exceptional work ethic, look out
future 1st rounder, and probably year 1 starter

I would have loved to have had T Moss back one more year...talented guy, class act, Randy Moss giving some pub wouldn't hurt LSU. But assuming Gilbert stays healthy, etc, LSU should be covered at TE day 1. This guy is the highest rated TE in the history of recruiting.

Arik was known to outrun safeties when he got going. I'm more worried about him being able to hold the edge and help out in Pass pro if needed. We all know he has more than enough speed and size to be an effective receiving weapon.

One of my favorite recruits in this class and he is also an EE so he should be on campus already or will be soon. He'll be pushing for a starting spot in the spring

Arik will be the day 1 starter. Sorry Jamal Pettigrew, sorry Kole Taylor, this dude is an absolute freak.

Also, just so you guys can get it right, his name is pronounced "Aye-rick", not "Eric."
