It only says that he's taking his time. What's so wrong about a kid taking his time? And if he decides to go elsewhere, so be it. But, don't give me this shite about LSU not contacting him, hell LSU was contacting the DE that signed with South Carolina to the bitter end, and you actually want us to believe that they are not contacting a Top recruit in their own backyard?

You think LSU is not contacting Maason Smith because he hasn't committed anywhere also? What do you think that says?

Nothing wrong with taking his time.
I'm not trying to sell you anything. Just passing along the info.

this is an old rumor.

I can assure you O and Joseph et all are on him.

Also the NIL conversation is being had by everyone. LSU actually hired the same firm as several other power 5 universities to spearhead their approach to marketing this to athletic prospects.

I know he loves bama and their recent success churning out top notch wrs is nothing to discount. But LSU has as well and we have some people in oir corner, namely Chris Hilton, and Jalen Cook (pg on the basketball team) who is Thomas's best friend.

Bama probably leads 55-45 right now, but don't think LSU is taking him for granted. That's a giant exaggeration

Again, I'm not saying that LSU is taking him for granted. Brian Thomas Sr is saying it.

I'm a Walker guy and I love Coach O. I'm just passing along what I heard from a very respectable friend who's connected to Walker football.

I also find it hard to believe that LSU isn't putting in the work on Thomas. But why would they say this?

To deviate recruiting time and resources away from other targets. Like I said, this reeks of Bama.

If he wants to go elsewhere, just go. No need to lie.

Hilton, Jojo, Deion and Keon.

Keon is a freak of nature.
Would rather go in for someone like that that miss out on both.

We let go of Coxie and he turned out to be a beast at Memphis.

I find that very hard to believe that O and staff aren’t recruiting Thomas hard. Very hard to believe

What? Koy Moore and Boutte are studs.

LSU is not recruiting him anymore. We have no intention of
signing him. The dad has his hand out.

The rumor of Coach & LSU not contacting BT jr is just that - a rumor. The kid has been a Bama fan for years. He also knows that playing for the “home team” has advantages. Such as close friends, family etc..and LSU appeals to him. A&M is just the shiny new thing. He and his family have been doing the right thing and weighing all options and not making any rash decision.

From what people have said about Thomas’ dad not really caring for LSU, I would bet that LSU is contacting him, but their calls are being ignored

Disinformation campaign.

Definitely starting to have a Phidarian Mathis feel. As if to distract away from the payment the family has received from Bama

No time to play games in recruiting. If he and his dad want him to go elsewhere, let him go. Let’s keep our three current commits and go get Hill, Nabors, Bech, or Coleman.

Don't know why you got downvoted but it is going to be thin

Boutte is a sure thing.

I thought lsu had the momentum when all the Chris Hilton stuff came out the first time
Does reek of the dad wanting money or more money

I’ve heard that Thomas has silent committed to Bama. LSU is out.

I also talked to someone that has a son playing ball on the team and was told the same thing. Sr says he feels like LSU is taking him for granted.

There is no way this is actually true.

This is an orchestrated effort by the family to accomplish something. Most likely one of the following:

- An attempt to soften the blowback when he goes to Alabama
- An attempt to get more "love" from LSU
- An attempt to get more "love" from Bama or A&M by signaling that they are in the lead and they just need to "close"
- An attempt to get more "love" from Bama/A&M in an attempt to get more "love" from LSU

Orgeron definitely has his faults, but taking the top receiver in the country who lives 20 miles from campus for granted definitely isn't one of them.

Anyway, it's pretty obvious what's going on here, but it's all in the game, so I wouldn't take it personal if I were y'all. It's just business.
