I also find it hard to believe that LSU isn't putting in the work on Thomas. But why would they say this?

What is so hard to believe about LSU not contacting him? Maybe LSU has their guys already committed, and stopped wasting time on him. Maybe there is something they don’t like about him. Or maybe they’re recruiting him hard. Who knows?

All I can tell you for sure is that the coaches know what they’re doing. Remember Travis Etienne? Everyone was bitching about why we got on him so late, but in terospect, the coaches did it right. They had the number 2 guy on their board committed, and they were holding a spot for the #1 guy, who was Cam. They were slow playing the #3 guy, Etienne.

It took three years before the fans caught up to the fact that Clyde was better than Etienne.

I don’t know if the information is accurate, but if Thomas’ dad said that, then the war is already lost. If I remember correctly, Sopsher’s family put out a similar message. Sounds like a play straight out of the Bama recruiting playbook.
Bingo.

Just a couple names from the past with similar instances:
- Hootie
- Marshall (previously mentioned)
- Sopsher (previously mentioned)
- Womack
- Tony Brown
- Cam Rob

We hear this every year. Now the fact it comes from the recruit's camp is the key point. Just like with Tony Brown, it usually means Bama has recruited or "provided some added incentive" to the family to get the player. I think it's part of the "contract" terms that they have to get some negative recruiting in to get those "benefits".

Every single day. I think he makes it in the back end of the class, but that's JMO. Kid can ball.

So what would you say happened with BTJ's recruitment from the LSU side?

But do you think it's over or does lsu come back to the table?

Seems like the writing is on the wall
Leigh is the bigger problem
Sucks missing on btj if it does happen but dont want on the fence players

Too many other individuals involved wanting a piece of the BTJ pie.. Normally we're willing to play the game, but this one is jumping the shark from what I'm told. We've stepped away from the table on this one.

That's what it sounds like
Now the dad is making it sound like lsu just isnt recruiting him

That's shady
You never know. It could be one of those last minute switch ups.
I wonder who gets the 4th spot.

As long as we have jojo and Hilton I'm happy

I also talked to someone that has a son playing ball on the team and was told the same thing. Sr says he feels like LSU is taking him for granted.

Highly unlikely they would take him for granted.

Look what LSU is doing with Marshall. They are incredibly similar.

Don't need any, but if we do replace him, we have several on the list.

IMO, we don't really need another WR.

McMath Sr
Kirklin Sr
Jenkins So
Palmer So
Boutte Fr
Moore Fr
Adams Fr
Earle Fr
Hilton Fr
Smith Fr

That's 10 WRs if McMath and Kirklin decide to stay another year(both could transfer though). It's 8 if both decide to leave, plus you have two excellent receiving TEs and all the RBs can catch.

Who says Tracey comes back
The only proven players are jaray and Boutte
Koy has looked decent in the slot and will be a good receiver but isnt a game changer.
You need 4 stud freshmen

My pick is nabers.
I think he is so so underrated

I'd be happy with bech too
Love how he fights for the ball and you can tell he is the type of player with a chip on his shoulder like the honey badger

Those type of players are infectious and can change the entire team's attitude.
I wouldnt be mad at either
