Is what common, for employers to not offer healthcare or for employees to not know their employer doesnt offer healthcare? I am not sure I understand what you're asking.

Sorry, my wording could have been better, I was surprised by how many co workers were not aware of the fact that employee provided healthcare goes away when you retire. And I was hoping that I was wrong about this being a common business practice.

This used to be a benefit most employers offered, but that’s no longer the case. It’s a benefit that would be valuable to employees that want to retire in their late 50’s or early 60’s. And I work for a global company that has many thousands of employees. The solution is to just buy an ACA insurance policy (or similar). If anyone knows of another option, post it here. I’m not working til 65. No chance

This is what I mean, don’t want to work till 65, but healthcare plans on the open market are high!!
My employer does not offer. Was talking to other co workers and was amazed about how many did know that this was the case. Is this common? Both questions, employers offering and employees not understanding that they basically have to work till 65/medicare to continue having healthcare.

Burn pile suggestions

Have a burn pile for limbs and such that over the years the ash has built up. Any ideas for what to do with this? Thought about filling in low spots in yard.
I think the issue is 3rd. All 3 guys could adequately play SS/2B. It’s much different at 3rd. From Jay it seems Dickinson is playing 2B, probably boils down to which one can “handle “ 3B.

My take, while there is no "it gene" hitting is a constant battle mentally. If a player finds success in a certain situation, he then feels more comfortable in that situation when it arrives again. Success breeds success. By the same token, failure creates stress which affects performance. Player then gets labeled "clutch" when circumstances provide the outcome.

LSMSA-good school?

Posted by crownroyaltiger on 10/16/24 at 1:01 pm
Just trying to get a little background on this high school. Academics, social aspects?
Thanks for all the suggestions, just wanted to find a way for her to keep playing while at school. Y'all came through as expected!

Miniature guitar amp

My daughter is moving into a dorm on campus this fall and wants to bring her electric guitar. Rules prevent her from bringing a large amp. Any recommendations on a quality miniature amp that she can plug headphones into?

Week 0 games

What games this weekend are your watching? Me, curious to see the SEC teams, even though the Gators play the only one that may tell us something.
My bad, apparently Thursday counts as week 1. Got a little ahead of myself, just excited to see games.
Was there this week, not once was I asked to wear a mask, or inquired about my vaccination status. Nor did I see anyone else wearing a mask, staff and visitors both.
Went with Bella Rosa last couple of years. Less seeds and pretty heat tolerant. Just hard to find.
Kidney cancer, been battling for years. The fact that not many knew of this is a testament to the man he was.

Why not just move Doughty back to 3rd and put Bianco at 2B?
just a guess, late game moves. If an outfielder is subbed in, Berry can be moved to 3rd. Keeps from moving Doughty to 2nd. Minimum amount of players moving around.

Box stand must haves

Acquired a couple of box stands for this upcoming season. Always have hunted on climbers and metal ladder stands. What accessories have y'all come across that have become must haves.
In BR when EKL was open the patients went to vet school for CT/X-ray. Now some hospitals are able to handle up to 700lbs.

re: Brian Thomas Jr tidbit

The rumor of Coach & LSU not contacting BT jr is just that - a rumor. The kid has been a Bama fan for years. He also knows that playing for the “home team” has advantages. Such as close friends, family etc..and LSU appeals to him. A&M is just the shiny new thing. He and his family have been doing the right thing and weighing all options and not making any rash decision.
