Fields was the better player in that secondary. Tech had a very good defensive unit. Freshman linebackers Jadon Mayfield and Zheric Hill, both of Ruston High, are two guys to keep an eye on the future.
Ahmad Hudson #1 TE 2027 will be in Baton Rouge this weekend
He's a freak athlete for sure. All-State in both sports by his sophomore year is pretty impressive. He's averaging about 23 points and 15 rebounds this season in basketball and just had 39 catches for 764 yards and 6 TDs in football. Plenty of time for him to decide which sport will be his focus, but he'll probably try to play both at LSU.

Laughing at a coach that led a school to three state championship games in a row and winning a title as defensive coordinator seems like a weird flex.
2 weeks in a row Chio is being underscored. What is the explanation for this?

Appreciate you mentioning the Ruston duo. Jordan "Jet" Hayes is an awesome player but he is not the best player on Ruston's team as listed. I would put Aidan Anding, Zheric Hill and Josh Brantley ahead of Hayes as far as talent goes. Brooks is definitely a sleeper recruit with good size and speed.

Kudos to Xavier Ford of Leesville who received an offer from Tulane this week! He's a very good player from a family of athletes.
Don't worry, they'll all be mediocre in the SEC by their sophomore years. LSU doesn't develop talent.
Kyle Williams, Def Coord Ruston High
Kevin Mawae, head coach, Lipscomb Academy
Breaux played almost exclusively on the inside his senior year at Ruston. Kyle was preparing him for LSU while at the same time doing what was best for Ruston's defense.
I like the idea of keeping Sierra leadoff on beam. Also, her value as a leader on the team cannot be undervalued. She is a "glue" person and to get her for another year plays a role in a possible repeat.
I hope LSU offers soon. This young man is not only extremely talented and athletic, but he's just now scratching the surface of his football career. Let's Geaux get him.
Hudson is considered a top 20 freshman in the nation.
This team is outstanding at home and basically average on the road.
Complain if they score low. Complain if they score high. Why the hell do y’all even watch?
It's been documented that Ahmad Hudson, the 6-7, 220-pound freshman at Ruston High is the son of former LSU Tiger Antonio Hudson.
Since joining the basketball team after winning a state title in football, Hudson has played 12 games now in his HS career. He is currently averaging 14.9 points, 11.7 rebounds and 2.7 blocks per game.
In his last 7 games, which includes matchups with guys 6-6 (Pineville) and 6-9 (Calvary Baptist), he has averaged 18 points, 14 rebounds and 3 blocks.
Hudson has basketball offers Louisiana Tech and Grambling, but a football offer from LSU.
4 failed routines out of 12 is not a good start to the season.

He's had that instinct to play linebacker since his sophomore season at J-Hodge. The only question was whether he could gain enough weight to play LB in college. And I think he has. He's a definite 2 to 3 year starter for LSU.
One of Dawson's best friends is a triple jumper at Oklahoma. Former Ruston High star B.J. Green.
Lewis Neal is an exceptional entrepreneur. Dude was making big money on the stock market while he was playing.
Hudson offer

His Dad is former LSU basketball player Antonio Hudson btw.
2D is hosting a tournament this weekend at the Ruston Sports Complex with 19 teams participating. I wonder if they will be sending out content.
Lawrence Nixon of Jennings. All-state in football and basketball. Unfortunately, never made it college after running afoul of the law.
Last weekend the NBA held its Jr. NBA Showcase in Las Vegas. Only 10 young players in the U.S. and 10 International were invited to participate. Louisiana had two incoming freshmen invited in Ruston's Ahmad Hudson (son of former LSU player Antonio Hudson) and Calvary Baptist freshman Tyrone Jamison Jr.

Jr. NBA Showcase
Dawson Willis is CJ's younger brother. Both played at Ruston High School. Dawson is a tall, rangy infielder at 6-3 who stole 28 bases for LSUE and hit .341. Was a two-sport athlete in HS, played WR on the football team.
