11- Anthony Jennings, Marietta (Ga.), committed to LSU ??Jennings spun the ball as well as any participant and had one great day of work followed by a few other solid, but not spectacular outings. We feel that he showed during those workouts, though, that what you saw on film last season was legitimate. He’s a smooth, accurate passer that is still just scratching the surface of his potential. Though he was the second quarterback taken in LSU’s 2013 class, we don’t feel like he’s necessarily the No. 2 quarterback in terms of projection behind Hayden Rettig. Expect Jennings to move to a four-star rating according to 247Sports in the near future.

Here's some video too LINK

Not bad for coming off an injury. I'm surprised he didn't make the cut considering everyone there said he was one of the top players.

They said one of the top players after the first day... And obviously as posted in the description that was his great day that was followed by just solid days.

It was great for him to get out with other big time QB's and compete. Besides that the ranking doesn't matter all that much. Glad he competed!

Who's willing to bet Wouliard doesn't end up at South Florida?

As a starter, Perrilloux would have been the same way.

I'm thinking the USF coaching staff will sue the Elite 11 camp for being an accessory in the stealing of a QB commit.

This one camp doesn't have a big effect on offers. The coaches trust their evaluations over evaluations by these guys.

Neal Burcham was a kid out of Arkansas last year who was named to the Elite 11 final 11 after a GREAT camp showing also was 1 of the 3 QBs to get MVP honors as well.

Burcham, in Petrino's own backyard...never got an offer from any BCS program except Cincinnati. He also remained a 5.5 3-star on rivals. He is now at SMU.

25 there, Dilfer chooses the Top 11. Jennigns wasn't in his 11. Actually this Top 11 list by 247 sports is very different from who Dilfer chose.

Glad to hear that. I just have the fear that if both Jennings and Rettig prove to be as legitimate as people thought, one of them eventually will have to transfer due to lack of opportunity or just wait to be wasted, cuz you can't have two great QBs on the field whatsoever. Will one of them be willing to red-shirt for a year maybe?

It's most likely one will transfer after losing the battle to become the starter. Not too many guys as good as Flynn willing to stay 5 years just to get a one year shot. Every school has this same problem.

Yea, but I think he may get some other looks based on his senior season. I'm kinda interested to see how his recruitment goes

I know we dont exactly have considerable depth at that position, maybe one will redshirt? I'd guess Jennings would get that nod.

We're NOT going to have two great QBs. Odds that...

0 are great: 95
1 is great: 4.9
2 are great: 0.1

Let's just hope one can manage the offense and throw competently.
