My favorite privacy hedge is sweet viburnum. They can be a bit more difficult to find in our area, but I much prefer them to ligustrum or photinia....

If you're looking for something active, you can always access Memorial Park. For something a bit more laid back- the Spring Creek Greenway in North Houston is different and something of a hidden gem in a city this large....

Park Hyatt definitely has the best location as it is central to the BC village. Slopes out the backside and skating rink out the front. I prefer the Osprey or the Pines Lodge. The Osprey has a lift just outside (true ski in/ski out) and has a nice ski valet. The Pines is also ski in/ski out, ...
