not to mention if he's in Lafayette, he may head over to Lafayette Christian and check in on Sage Ryan for the 2021 Class

I agree I like Hines a lot better at RG than center. He’s not a natural snapper.

If he lives up to the buzz maybe Xavier Hill eventually takes over at center next season?

Most likely scenario for the interior 3 on the line next year is LG Ingram, C Hines, RG Thomas. That is probably the line up that gets our best 3 interior linemen out there.

I’m surprised we haven’t seen a stronger push for another safety. Unless that is where they see McGlothern.

There are 4 safeties on the roster that will be seniors:

Stevens
Lewis
Monroe
Vincent

I’m assuming Harris gets a redshirt following the ACL.

I think they try mcglothern at corner then safety.

And yeah they would probably be left with Harris and hampton and would have to grab a couple elite guys next year

This gives a maximum of 24 spots filled, with a more realistic number of 23 because of Lorando Johnson. There is also a small chance of only having 22 spots filled if CamRon Jackson takes a greyshirt, and 21 spots filled if both CamRon Jackson and Ty'Kieast Crawford take a greyshirt (pending his commitment).

I’m guessing this is just something that got missed in an edit, but Crawford isn’t counted in the 24 current commits. So if Lorando Johnson falls out of the class, CamRon greyshirts, AND Crawford commits/greyshirts.. that would still put us at 22 signees.

There's also a kid named Fitzgerald West that is a 6' 2" 328 pound DT beast coming out in 2022.

Because we lose McMAth SR, and likely Marshall and Chase, Jontre Kirkland SR as well. That leaves Palmer, Lee, Jenkins, Boutte, Moore and Adams. It is likely Stingley plays a little WR his JR year. We needed to sign atleast 3 for 2020, and not have to rely on true freshmen in 2021. Louisiana is loaded at WR, which is good for the future, but you always have to look 2 years ahead in order to properly keep a roster with depth and talent at the right positions.

Still have Jordan Toles, Mo Hampton, and possibly Devonte Lee at safety. Jay Ward and Ray Jones could play safety too. McGlothen at Safety sounds legit. Corner is loaded with Sting, Ricks, Flott. I think we feel losing Major Burns more than before.

You're forgetting about R. Jones also. He will be a baller in the secondary.

I'm not feeling super confident about Chasen Hines' snapping ability, although he can be great at a guard spot opposite Ed Ingram.

Snapping is easy as shite; all it takes is practice. Anyone on this board could do the snapping part.

I think Chasen Hines will be better than Cushenberry. I’ve been sky high on him since his senior year of high school. He has next-level footwork, and he is strong as an ox. Before his freshman year at LSU I predicted Hines would be the best interior linemen at LSU in a decade. I’m sticking with that.

We will have like 10-11 WRs on the roster next season. Our competition all have 15+ WRs.

he can't sign another Letter of Intent since Georgia released him from his original one. NCAA rules state that only 1 is allowed per year. Therefore, the college of his choice has to trust that he will show up on campus. It's looking like he'll head to either Tennessee, Ole Miss, or Florida if I had to guess. Auburn's RB Boobie Whitlow just entered the transfer portal so that's another possibility I guess.
