Just to wrap things up,

LSU currently has 8 early enrollees:

TE- Arik Gilbert
CB- Elias Ricks
S- Jordan Toles
WDE- BJ Ojulari
QB- Max Johnson
TE- Kole Taylor
QB- TJ Finley
SDE- Ali Gaye

We currently have 14 players that have signed, but have not enrolled:

WR- Kayshon Boutte
DT- Jaquelin Roy
OLB- Phillip Webb
ILB- Antoine Sampah
OT- Marcus Dumervil
DT- Jacobian Guillory
ILB- Josh White
DT- Eric Taylor
WR- Koy Moore
OG- Marlon Martinez
OG- Xavier Hill

WR- Alex Adams
RB- Kevontre Bradford
CB/S- Dwight McGlothern

We currently have 2 players that are committed, but unsigned:

CB- Lorando Johnson (possible ineligibility?)
DT- CamRon Jackson (possible ineligibility?)

This gives a maximum of 24 spots filled, with a more realistic number of 22 because of Lorando Johnson and CamRon Jackson having ineligibility issues.

So that's:

2 Quarterbacks
3 Wide Receivers
2 Tight Ends
2 Offensive Guards
1 Offensive Tackle
1 Running Back

6 Defensive Linemen
2 Inside Linebackers
1 Outside Linebacker
2 Cornerbacks (3 if counting Lorando)
1 Safety

Now with NSD effectively over for our targets, look for LSU to target the transfer portal either before or around Spring ball, especially for OCs and ILBs.

of those 3 only McGlothern seems like a lock right now. Not sure of what is up with Lorando Johnson and CamRon Jackson has more to do with what other players wind up doing or more to do with their own academic situations?

Is having both Jackson and Burch possible?

Why take 3-star Alex Adams? We're already loaded at WR and have a great haul comin' in '21. Should find a transfer portal LB which is much more of a need for next year.

Wr's of course are not an issue for the 2020 season, but if you look at the depth chart, there aren't very many WR's who will be returning for the 2021 season. Though we will sign some big time talented WR's in the 2021 class, we don't want to HAVE to rely on true freshman WR's in 2021.

First, I consider your post SUPERB except for the one statement here.
quote:

Gibbs is currently verbally committed to Georgia Tech, and at one point seemed like he was on the verge of flipping to the Tigers.

Never any evidence he was seriously considering LSU IMO. Never even visited and danced around a supposed desire to visit.

quote:

LSU will get commitments from McKinnley Jackson, Alex Adams, Kevontre Bradford, and Ty'Kieast Crawford within the next 2 weeks to round out the class.

I consider you a genius for making this prediction. Why? Because I made the exact same prediction on another site. on January 19th

If we did take a transfer, what position were you thinking?

It seems like LB and C are our biggest question marks.

I think it's possible to get both, but I genuinely think it'd be kinda foolish to go for 6 DT in a single class when you have so many DL on the roster already

Good post. Gibbs percentage should be even lower imo.

I would like to keep a schollie open for a potential transfer myself.

I’d feel great about finishing class with those 4 mentioned.

I wouldn’t really consider Burch to be a DT. I’d say he’s more like a SDE that could even play WDE in a 4-3 if it keeps the most talent on the field

5-2 is super similar to 3-4.

Not that it matters, but I think Kole Taylor is an early enrollee.

First off, epic job by the OP cobbling all this together into one coherent post.

We usually are way too zealous with these prediction percentages.

I think it's much closer to:

Gibbs - 10%
Bradford - 75%
Adams - 85%
M. Jackson - 30%
Burch - 20%
Crawford - 85% (eligibility?)
C. Jackson 50% (eligibility?)
McGlothern - 95%

I do believe McGlothern, Bradford, Adams and Crawford are going to be Tigers in the end.

Two spots left. LB and DL would be nice to finish it off. If we land M. Jackson and Burch, that's a grand slam on NSD.

I think this is false. I heard Gibbs visited LSU unofficially a couple months back. At least thats what 247 says.

That being said, im pretty sure he is GT bound

Lorando Johnson

He is a teammate of Bradford’s at Lancaster. So I would expect both. I’m not an insider and I don’t have any premium board subscriptions, but this is the first I’ve heard of eligibility issues for Lorando.

Gibbs made an unofficial visit to LSU for the Auburn game.
