Looking at getting the new Hinense class U7 series 65” miniLED QLED UHD 4K smart Google TV.

Honestly had never heard of them until today. They apparently make the screens for Samsung and are about to buy LG.

Anyone have experience with them?

Also looking at getting their soundbar as well.

Check out what rtings.com (i think thats it) says about them.

I've had a hisense chest freezer on the pier at my cousins cabin for about 10 years now. It looks like it landed on iwo jima but its still running even though its in the elements.

I’ve got 7 of them - 2 outside, 1 in play room, 2 of their frame TVs, and 2 at our office. I’ve been very pleased with their functionality and picture quality.

I have 2 of their TV's, one 50" and one 60" I think. We bought them because I like the native ROKU experience, but it turns out the TV's are great, especially for the money.

I recently purchased 2 of them for my camp and I am very pleased with both.
Great picture quality and very fast when navigation between streaming platforms.

you have seven TVs?
I have one

The Roku TV at Best Buy is the best bang for buck I’ve ever had. Huge screen, built in Roku interface and cheap as shite

The one at Best Buy is a Google tv. Are they all Google? Is Roku built into the Google one?

3 years ago we had one in living room. Now we have:

- 2 on patio
- 1 in living room
- 1 in our bedroom
- 1 in kids playroom
- 2 at our office (different location)

I will say one of the ones outside is Hisense FireTV vs. Hisense GoogleTV

GoogleTV interface is far superior.

That isn’t a Hisense tv…

People are making it sound like you can get a Hisense Roku?

it’s a Roku TV
I turn it on and the Roku interface appears
That’s all I really want or need out of a TV
