I rep...not sure. Finished the Texas Method Strength program a few months ago and my 5 rep max on the big 3 were:

Squat: 395
DL: 405 for 3 reps
Bench: 335

5'8" 190lb

Liked the program and will do again this fall

I gotta get in on some meets but I don’t want to do one until I’m sure I’ll dominate.

How’d you do on your last one?

Got 3rd. I could've won with better experience and attempts. I red lighted on bench twice and had to take a low 3rd to stay in the competition. First attempts were way to low.

I want to do another one around the fall or winter.

How long did it take for you to recover? I have one and probably going to put it off until after summer.

Wraps or something?

Weird to have bigger squat. Nice lifts.

Nah no wraps or straps. I used a mixed grip. I didn’t deadlift for years and didn’t train it that hard to get to 600+. 700 is a very doable number for me personally when my knee heals. My body is very leg-centric as is my brothers and dads (they are triathletes who’s strongest event is the bike). I Understood nutrition and recovery at an early age as well as frequency of the major lifts.
