Both types, eh? I really want to try APF or USPA. I love the deadlift bar.

You guys are impressive! How long have y’all been at this to get these numbers? Any advice on how to get unstuck on squats and dead’s?

I’m 41 and have been at it about a year. I weigh 235.

Bp- 300
Squat- 280
Deads- 310

I do the greyskull LP. After the two main lifts I do weighted pull-ups and then a ring and body weight program. With squats especially it feels like a take a step forward then two steps backwards.

Here to repesent the weaklings

6’2” 180 lbs

Bench - 225
Squat - 315
DL - 245 (I haven’t lifted heavy since my back injury and it’s kind of mental now. I know I could DL more, it just scares me.)

Anyways I think those numbers are decent for a person who has never really lifted seriously and mostly been a runner for most of their adult life.

Maybe you do better with heavier weights. On the amrap sets, how many do you normally get?

In most commercial gyms, repping 185 on bench and 225 with legit depth on squat is totally respectable. You'd be in both categories fairly easily.

Frankly, just doing either with legit form is like a top 10% thing in the general population. Broscience videos on people who skip leg day are documentaries for a lot of guys.
