Reebok from Walmart. I think they're like $15.

Mine must be an older style or something.

I get the Baleaf brand 5" on Amazon with the liner (not compression liner) for $25-ish. They are great to run and lift in.

I bought a pair based off your recommendation. So if I don't like them, I hold you personally responsible.

These shorts were the first thing recommended by Prime Day. Guess I'm grabbing a few different colors.

I bought a pair of the G Gradual joggers based on 777s recommendations and I hate them. They feel like you are wearing plastic.

When I see them in my drawer I throw a little hate at 777 still.

5” in seam or less is the answer. The brand is irrelevant.

If you have not gotten lean or muscular enough to pull these off, you still have work to do.

Calloway shorts from Costco. Has pockets, fit well, about $20. Black, light gray, tan have most t shirts covered.

I'm currently sitting at work wearing these and the pockets are what prompted me to start the thread . They're awesome quality for $12 but I absolutely hate the zipper pockets. They are horizontal instead of vertical and I feel like I'm too retarded to figure out how to easily zip/unzip them.

Just got them in. The zipper pockets are vertical. But the pockets themselves are too shallow for me. And putting my keys, phone and wallet in them, it looks too bulky.

Anyone have a suggestion for zipper gym shorts with deep pockets?

ETA: Google’s AI recommended these based on asking for mesh gym shorts with deep zipper pockets that would be comfortable to wear all day at a tailgate. Amazon

I’ll report back when I get them.

I’m returning them and it’s all your fault.

I need something that will hold an Iphone 16 Plus in a zippered pocket for bike riding. Will Maamgic do that? How big is the compression liner phone holder?

I have an iPhone 16 Pro Max with a Rokform case. It fits in the compression liner phone holder just fine. No zipper on it, but it's not necessary given the design. It's not going anywhere and it stays right on your thigh so it's not bouncing around in a pocket.

Another vote for G Graduals, $12 shorts from Amazon.

Only gripe is they seem to be slightly inconsistent… some colors feel shorter and tighter than others. But overall good shorts.

You also can't comfortably conceal in them even when tied tight.

What do you mean?

I did the same- have a few G Grads and BCG from Academy. No issue with either.

I do remember 777s said: WEAR 5s- show your thighs

I've started wearing these tights I got off ebay. Bought a bunch of different colors they are super comfortable and I have a big dick (for a white guy) so it shows that off as well. Get lots of attention from the big booty latinas in the gym.

I get the Academy BCG 5" shorts. I love the shite out of em. The 5" ones have the liner, but I cut the liner out. I'd just as soon have my short boxer briefs on underneath. The liner is uncomfortable to me.

I've got some of the 6" ones also and I like them too, but prefer the 5".

I hate longer shorts when doing certain lifts (front and back squats, deads, etc.). The shorter the better for me.
