He's not competing solo though, right? Just as apart of Mayhem I thought.

He probably finished around 9:40 and his HR didn’t go over 140 bpm until the 40/15 set.

Freak of fricking nature. How is that even possible?

I was in Atlanta all weekend, lets just say not watching my diet. My trainer has me doing 21.2 at lunch today and then I am hitting one of the evening classes later today. At this point, I am wondering if I will even finish.

27 holes of golf on Saturday didn't help, but my hamstrings are still in pain

I think I could shave at least 30 seconds off that time. I paced my burpee box jump overs too slow in the beginning.

10-20-30 DBs went unbroken

then 15-15-10 on 40 and then 10-10-singles on the 50

Yeah, but teams still have to qualify through the Open.

Also, workout winners do win something.

My HR was spiking close to 170 and I finished 215Rx.

I thought I was in the middle of double kidney failure when I woke up in the middle of the night.

Wife and I just finished 21.2 Foundations. She times out at 22 of 50 (182), I completed it in 19:26. I think its easily the hardest I have exerted myself over a length of time like that. I struggled forcing myself to not scale down the burpees but I kept them to standards. It was intense as frick, for our condition at least. Its also likely my biggest physical accomplishment.

I forgot OHS.

My guess is a push/pull EMOM:

50 OHS
50 TTB
50 Thrusters
50 Pull-ups
50 OHS

There may be a part 2 as well.

Have a strong feeling this will be the first workout I won't be able to do within the confines of our garage, which I'm okay with since will push myself more at the gym.

I'm liking the earlier announcement time since more time to prep / prime for the workout.

Our workout today shouldn't present too much carryover conflict for tomorrow for any workout that is announced:

THURSDAY, MAR 25
WORKOUT OF THE DAY
Warm Up (NOT SCORED)
GENERAL:
Line Drills
-then-
:60/:60 Couch Stretch

SPECIFIC:
2 Rounds
3 Slow and Controlled Candlesticks
10 Lunges AFarAP
3 Broad Jumps
TTB Skills and Drills (REPS)
TTB Progressions and Practice

-then-

EMOTM x 8
X TTB

Start with a challenging number and try to hit it every time! Score = Total Reps
Air Bud (TIME)
Partner WOD
8 Rounds EACH

8 Weighted Step Ups
10 American KB
12 Lateral Hops

F: 8 BW Step Ups + 10 Russian KB + 12 Lat Hops
P/S: 53/35; 24"/20"; Parallette

Speaking of tough on the heart rate

21.3
For total time:

15 front squats
30 toes-to-bars
15 thrusters

Then, rest 1 minute before continuing with:

15 front squats
30 chest-to-bar pull-ups
15 thrusters

Then, rest 1 minute before continuing with:

15 front squats
30 bar muscle-ups
15 thrusters

Workout 21.4 begins immediately upon completing or reaching the time cap for 21.3.

95 lb. for the front squats and thrusters

21.4
Complete the following complex for max load:

1 deadlift
1 clean
1 hang clean
1 jerk

Time begins immediately following the completion of 21.3.

Time cap: 7 min.

I am going to H-town this weekend and leaving around lunchtime, so I'll be having 21.3 and .4 for breakfast. 8am class.

I'll do the front squats at Rx for logging then switch to scaled since I can't do ttb.

Damn. Won’t be able to RX due to my shoulder. I’ll do GHDs for the T2B and RX everything else.

I’ll get to the BMUs.

We will see if my lack of BMU preparation allows me to get 1.

21.4? No idea. 205-245?

I’ll make it to the BMUs. If I get 5 I’ll be happy.

As for 21.4...205 is my Max hang clean, so probably going be around 185 for me, especially since my shoulders will be gone after 21.3
