I think my scale needs new batteries or I am in the weirdest stall in personal history. Im stuck dead on 220.4. I had a morning show 218, but now its 220.4 exactly every morning.

So I changed the batteries after it read 220.4 again.
It showed me 222.8. frick!

I had to remind myself that this is still below my original goal of 225, but I don't want to get into that way of thinking.

I need to get back to working out regularly, but work has been so damn demanding. When I leave, I just want to rest or have a damn cocktail. I've considered a snack or even preworkout before I leave work. I dont want to be cranked all night though.

These scales are all made in China, Chappy. Who knows what kind of nefarious shite is built into them.

Been lurking here for a few weeks since re-starting my journey, figured I'd get in for continued motivation
Had fallen off wagon most of last year, bad choices and low activity
Just finished 30 days of rowing 15 min/day on my WaterRower as a starter challenge now looking to continue progress

173/167/150 (yes I'm short)

I think im making muscle gainz the past couple weeks. Dropped from 187 to 179 from Jan 1 to a week ago. Scale now says 181 and I've eaten totally clean no alcohol and been lifting 4 days a week raising intensity and getting 6 one hour walks each week. 2 weeks ago I started tracking protein intake to make sure I got 1g per lb of body weight and I'm definitely seeing more muscle mass and waist and face look leaner.

The damn thing read 217.8 this morning which would mean I've dropped 40lbs in 3 months

Also, I went to my first ever chiropractor visit yesterday. Damn I feel great! I go back in 2 weeks then on consult every few months. I've got some stretches to do everyday.

11 lbs since the 1st. Seems like the rapid weight loss phase might be over.

I have no food scales or body scales at this condo/gym for a month. Kinda miss reporting in.

Lsu777: I’ve been telling you those Inbodys are the devil. Extrapolating my results from one in November, I would need to lose to 160 to be 14-15% bf (my goal) at 5’11”. My eyes and every other measure (navy method/waist, own scales) say I’m basically there at 185-190. That’s the kinda result that tells me to give up (no way I’m sitting in a deficit another year lol) or just ignore the weird result.

Was it cold when you got it done and you were outside for a while? That can increase your bf% by like 3-4% even after your skin warms up…

its cold but i went right in from heated truck

the result just surprised me, mainly that i havent gained any muscle even though i have put tons of weight on my maxes in last 5 months. im not worried about it, i know if i get to 175 and maintain high protein and do it slowly.....i will look like i want to look. I have done it before.

Down 1.2. I'll take it. I'm weighing every day and using a weekly average.

Dear diary:
Had an incredibly busy week. Work is insanely busy, and my 9mo got sick and had to stay home and then developed an ear infection, so the wife and I juggled taking care of him and working all week. Called some meal audibles and ordered takeout or scrounged up food instead of planned meals to spare us the cleanup of cooking. Roman's salad with their house hot sauce is so freaking good and there's no sugar or hidden carbs in any of it as far as they could tell me. Had that Wednesday. Chicken wings for dinner last night.

Had a couple of days of not being hungry at all for breakfast so skipped it those days.

All in all, a strong week. Could've been a little more disciplined and cooked a couple more meals but I'm ok with how things shook out.

I think I wanna implement a Friday fast but not sure the length of time. Maybe make it OMAD Friday.

Wrong direction on this one. I'm not lifting due to injuries but i have been jogging & walking. This is pretty much pattern over the last few years: up & down with minor progress & failures.
