Im on lockdown for Lent. Strict keto and my alarm is set for 515 so I have to get up and walk on the treadmill. It needs to happen.

Started up keto again with my wife and we are on Day 7, not too bad but lent always throws us for a curve.

Trying to find an inexpensive protein source, we have been making up a lot of tuna salad

Oh, for Friday I’m guessing.
1) Search the circulars when they come in the mail. Salmon is my best friend. I cook a little Thursday and make salmon salad for Friday lunches. Stuff it in am avocado.

Friday dinner is a Poke bowl with cream cheese, salmon, avocado, cauliflower “rice”

Also, I just eat meat. I’m giving up a lot of things being keto. Eating meat in a Friday ain’t keeping me out of heaven.

Fast as much as possible. Atkins prepackaged foods ( I know not super clean) can really help as well.

Made some protein ice cream in the Ninja Creami. This should be illegal.

Fairlife protein shake
Fairlife whole milk
Sugar free pudding packet
Lilly’s dark chocolate chips

Less than 400 cals
44g of protein

Been at it for about a month now, losing an average of 2lbs/week. I try to keep it around 2000 calories/day. I don't lift, but I do BJJ 4-5x per week.

I recently went back after a three-year hiatus. Took me about a month to get the rust off/get the cardio back, but now I feel amazing. I wish I could find the time to go twice a day.

Been dieting with Weight Watchers points system since early January 2023, combined with exercise. Dropped from 185 to 178 but was stuck and using WAY too many points on daily alcohol. Gave up alcohol for Lent and am down to 174 in six days. If I get to 165 before Lent ends, the plan is to resume drinking but with more moderation. Though I have to say, I'm feeling pretty good alcohol free.
