I started the final week again today and will wrap up at the end of the week, so you're in better shape than me.

Pretty sure I am starting Pool Season II next monday

I did several PPSA programs 1-2 years ago, but I’ve been going to an OPEX gym for the last year. Great results, but that $125 per month is steep when I have a garage gym and PPSA programs already paid for at home. I’ll jump in next month and follow along whatever the next program is, but for the rest of May I’ll follow Filling up the Hoodie. Strained my groin about 3-4 weeks ago, so decided on a low volume lower body program for the remainder of May. Bench felt good. High rep band pull aparts, shrugs, and push downs were a burner. Haven’t done high reps like that in a long time. Excited to be back on the PPSA train. Cheers gents!!

Worked up a heavy 1 rep in back squat yesterday in 15-20 min.

365 with some left in the tank; probably 10-15 lbs.

Goal is to get to 405 or more this year.

Finished up W2D2 of big back Billy. 4 days a week of deadlifting is a new one for me but definitely feeling strong. Lower back is feeling a little worn out so glad to have an off day tomorrow.

Pretty sore this morning from the first two days back on PPSA. Went with a 30 min Echo bike ride this morning, nasal breathing only, for max miles. Got a nice sweat, but nothing crazy. Back to the iron tomorrow morning.

Wrapped up Benchamin Franklin today and I'd recommend it for anyone wanting a lower body break. shite ton of bench press, lots of rows, and a tri/bi/shoulder superset each day. Only 1 day of light squats per week.

Has anyone run Pump City? Looks like ton of volume and its 5 days a week.

With the kids being out for the summer and not needing to worry about them getting up/going to school, may be time to spend a little extra time in the garage.

I ran it Feb and March as 3 on, 1 off. I liked it a lot, but I had been doing PPL for over a year before starting PPSA and I like that split.

What's the goal/end result with that?

I've seen Mark Bell talk about it on his podcast

On w2 of strong and fast , enjoying the soreness the different lifts bring. This program hits my posterior as evidenced by sore ham, butt, back, traps.

Hey 777-

Got a quick question for you. Planning my next 5-6 months of bulking and am a little torn on programming. My biggest weak points rn are chest and shoulders. My arms are pretty developed, my upper back is quite developed, and my lower body is solid. I’m torn between a run of 531 BTM or jumping right into a PPSA block consisting of:

Benchamin Franklin
Benchamin Franklin 2
Either BF or BF2(depending on what I preferred) or Elbow Meat
FOTH 2
FOTH2
FOTH2

With a deload every 4 weeks after the 5 week programs.

My question is, with those weak points in mind, should I just jump into my PPSA block now or start with BTM and go from there. I have run several PPSA programs and love them, I feel they have given me the best results of any programming, I just respond well, but BTM is very well regarded for size.

Thank you!

Day 6 of Pump City done. I avoided the group workout.

Jose did you go to the LSU game Friday? Thought I saw you drinking on tailgate when I was going to my truck after the game.

I did Pool Season II last month, then went on vacation for 10 days. I did a couple days of mixed lifts last week, started PS II again this week.

Not a fan of working out my "peaches" lol.

W1 D2 finished yesterday. I enjoy this program. It fits my schedule and hits the lifts that I like
