I haven’t done Oak Tree. I have done Strongville. Strongville has carries every day which I just am not set up very well to do in my garage gym equipment wise. I did it when I was at a gym with plenty of kettlebells and liked it fine.

70s is probably my favorite of the 7-8 ones I’ve done. It’s got some strength days but also some body building days too. I like the variety

It varies workout to workout. Shortest is probably 45ish min and longest around 75ish min. Typical workout takes around an hour though. Not as long as some of his other plans

Yea, that one takes forever. It’s been a hot minute since I ran that one but I ended up turning some of the supplemental lifts into supersets if it wasn’t prescribed to help with the time. Also adds a conditioning element. Still was taking 75-90 min per workout though

Running back 70s Big. Just finished 2nd workout. Love the leg work in this one

I’ve got an Ethos one from Dick’s. Holds up to 60 pounds. Been using it for my daily walks. Should do well for what you’re asking about
I’ve got the Nuobells that go up to 80#. They work pretty well and are easy to adjust. Definitely cannot drop them though
Holy frick, Day 17 is a MFer. 100 barbell squats then lunges and shrugs

I did that one last week right before a long car ride. Had to roll out of the car when we got there.

Can’t recommend this program enough if you’re looking for a change of pace. It’s different than some of his other programs I’ve run but I love it. I think I’m going to run it again once I finish it next week

Just finished Day 11 of 70s Big. Was a solid 8.5-9 on Aussie’s KMA scale.

I’d say use a conservative Training Max if you’re worried about injuring your shoulder. I’m using an 80-85% TM for bench for the same concerns you have and I’m still getting a great workout. It’s a fun program, hope you enjoy
2 scoops strawberry protein
Handful of spinach
1 Cup frozen strawberries
1 banana
2/3 Cup of Greek yogurt
Water
I just finished Day 8. I am loving this program, I’m considering running it back after I finish. Going to take off tomorrow then will have to cram in 4 in a row before leaving town for Thanksgiving
I’d be careful on the volume you start with. I’m fairly well trained but jumped right into a 10k push-ups in 30 days challenge and tweaked my shoulder. The results were undeniable by the end of 30 days though, chest and shoulders got big
Be prepared for the DOMS from that workout hah. I did it Tuesday and my legs are sore as hell today. Going to be a fun 5 weeks
70s Big day 2- 12 sets of squats at my new 1RM / new training max was tough considering the TM is 45# heavier than what I used in squatober…
I started it tonight. Looking forward to this program

Thanks St Aug for talking some sense into me and confirming my gut reaction
I finally installed the safety straps in the cage last night. Haven’t gone heavy enough to need them prior to then. I’m likely starting that program next week as well
