Elbow meat is like a 5day arm farm more or less.

If you’re wanting strength training then silverback and strongville have more consistently heavy bench sets than arm farm and elbow meat

for a women....DB strength is perfect. tons of legs and glute work

for you...
My favorite program is FOTH followed by arm farm. but they arent strength based really. other programs are better for that

but i do think after a pure bench program, FOTH would be a great one to follow with then strongville.

Best plan to run for a cut? I’ve ran DB Strength 2, House of 1,000 Reps, and in the middle of Strongville rn.

i mean any of the upper body focused ones or the ones where you are doing by day, not certain number of times a week.

Like Pump City is a lot of volume but if you run it 3 days a week, its perfect for a cut.

arm farm, foth, 21 to party, super set etc are all good for a cut

Jumping back in tomorrow with Summer Stacked. Been doing John Meadows mountain dog programs since around the end of the summer. Great programs for anyone wanting to get back into more of a bodybuilding style of training.

Been missing PPSA especially deadlifting regularly, but didn’t want to lose my lower body gains so wanted to do a PPL. Think this is the perfect program. Pumped for the morning

Running my favorite program "Pool Season" again in preparation for actual pool season, I like the "day off" on Wednesdays but this time around I will still hit the gym if I don't have errands to run and add in sets of what I feel is missing which yesterday I added in Incline DB press and calf raises.

Week 1 of Benchamin in the books. Totally different style than i’m used to but I’m really enjoying it so far. Just hoping my shoulder hangs in there for 4 weeks. Terrible AC joint arthritis that I’m hopefully getting fixed later this year.

When doing accessories and cardio. Should I be nearing failure at the end of those sets? Still tuning in the weights I need to be using for these.

Cardio section is no joke, it’s the most I’ve sweated at the gym in a while

Just curious how you've been dealing with AC joint arthritis? That is what I have. Doc said maybe osteophytes also. There's a bunch but nothing is torn. I can work through it but the next day its very achy

Ice packs, lidocaine patches, and occasional Mobic (as little as possible). I went see ortho doc after 2 injections at the ortho urgent care. He said to come back next time it flares up bad and he will determine if my pain is from the AC joint or a mild cuff tear I have that showed up on the MRI. He’s leaning towards arthritis over cuff since it’s a small tear. I really hope that’s the case because we’re looking at a 3-4 day recovery vs 4-6 week recovery.

The daytime pain sucks but I can handle it. What really sucks is nighttime, it always gets worse when I lay down and sleep which is really effecting my sleep.

Dude that is the exact same thing with me! I didn’t get a MRI yet though. Nighttime is the worst for me also. If I do some light pressing it kinda helps but I laid off it for 3 weeks and it’s still the same. I’m dreading any kind of surgery or anything. I tried PT but it’s stuff I can do at home and it’s too expensive.

Also what program you been running with the AC joint pain? I finished brick house which was mainly lower body so I could skip most bench but I’m about to do pool season 1.

Man I’ve tried everything and the only thing that brought relief was steroid injection, unfortunately. So if it’s the same issue as me, MD told me it’s very minor surgery and only a few days recovery. They essentially trim down the clavicle bone a cm or so.

Benchamin Franklin I’m kinda retarded. But I’m really on a mission to increase my bench. What’s crazy is that this program has been hurting me less than my old PPLU split. I was doing full send every set before and now, following the PPSA %, it’s much less weight and more control. Maybe that’s what’s helping. Or it could be the extensive warmup.. who knows. I’m just glad it’s been acting right.

As of now, my plan is to run BF 4 weeks then swap to Arm Farm or FOTH to back off on chest a little.

Man well I hope everything works out well for your shoulder. I’m waiting to get a MRI to really see.

Haha I haven’t tried that one yet but I’m trying to get ready for summer so hopefully PS1 helps lol
