I was needing 2-3 cups of coffee in the AM just to clear some of the fog and get back to neutral....now I barely need one to get moving.

That’s very encouraging. I immediately thought the worst when I started getting these problems but once all the normal bloodwork came back good and I got these problems testosterone results it made me relieved. I’m doing a sleep study this week to rule out sleep apnea then from there my PCP said we can start talking about treatment options.

While I know sleep apnea is a big issue when it comes to testosterone levels, I hate the idea a doc won’t treat low testosterone until SA is fixed. What if you have it and the doc gives you a CPAP. Most people have such a hard time becoming compliant with a CPAP. I feel like it is a revolving door so to speak. One affects the other and so on. I have SA and I have such a hard time using a CPAP. And I have really given it a good go. I keep pulling it out and trying and after a few weeks of only tolerating it a couple hours a night and getting some really horrible sleep, I put it away again. I am pretty early on in my TRT journey, but I am already seeing positive impacts. Waist is going down. More energy to actually work out. Able to recover better after working out. What I’m trying to say is that I don’t think having SA should stop someone from receiving TRT. I’m working through my SA and trying to fix it. But it would be a lot harder if I wasn’t getting testosterone treatments.

Give this mask a shot. It was a game changer for me. Super comfortable.

That’s interesting. I’ll look into it. I started off with nasal pillows and that felt like a direct stream of pressurized air straight to the brain. The full nasal mask was okay. I’m honestly at the point of trying to get an oral appliance. Thanks for the rec.

I tried to read through some of the thread but it's so long.

What prompted you guys to seek trt? I've posted on here about some anxiety/ocd/ depression stuff. Had a rough go several weeks back got back on meds etc and everything seemed to get better for about a month then just woke up about a week ago not feeling right and it's slowly gotten worse. Especially in the morning it's awful. I'm not fat, i exercise, get tons of sunlight etc... Relationships are great, active in church, finances stable. On a great vacation to boot. Basically there is no reason i should be feeling this way which freaks me out. So wondering if maybe it's something hormonal? Anybody used trt and found success managing mental struggles?

I have not got my levels checked but have an open lab to and will do it when i get home next week but I'd be surprised if it didn't come back at least somewhat low.

You should be higher than 499 at the 7 day mark, make sure to do it then if you are doing weekly shots. quote:What can be done.....give blood I know Just do this and not over think it. Give blood every 8 weeks, you are helping people out and it keeps your hematocrit down.

I was at 1390 and free 250 on my last bloodwork in December. I think that was day 6 or 7 after my once per week shot. I got bloodwork done yesterday around 2:15 and took my shot yesterday morning so will see where I’m at same day to compared to about a week after.

I have no fricking clue. I take 75% of a shot that goes to 1 on the little black marks.

Could be pounds, grams, cups, CC, or ML.

I think it’s a 200ML per vile and I take 75% so 150 ML a week and cost me $10 a month on my insurance.

That is what I take. 150 mg a week. I split it into 2 shots, one Monday and one Thursday. I was at 1300 a few days after my shot when I did blood work so I decided to split up the shot and now I am around 900 when I get the shot.
