hematocrit levels can test high from being even the slightest bit dehydrated
plus, in my case, living at high elevation
recommend spread your dosage into smaller units more frequently will help with a lot of things including hematocrit and e2. I tell friends who start TRT to pin EOD or (in my case) daily. Doing this you should be able to omit the anastrozole
I've been on TRT 7 years, started at weekly, then went to 2x week, then EOD, and been daily for the past 4 years. I could feel a difference when I went to EOD, not so much when I went to daily but I do it that way because it's easier for me to remember and part of my daily routine.

That all makes sense. Ill mention EOD to the clinic Monday. Wonder if theyll want my hemoglobin and hematocrit numbers back down before starting EOD or can just doing EOD bring those numbers down over time? Fasting before the blood test probably had me a little dehydrated like you said.

“For most adults, intramuscular (IM) injections require a 1- to 1.5-inch needle to ensure the medication reaches the muscle, typically using a 22–25 gauge needle. Needle length selection depends on body weight and size: 1-inch is generally suitable for those under 130 lbs (60 kg) to 152 lbs (70 kg), while 1.5-inch is needed for adults over 200 lbs (90 kg) for women or 260 lbs (118 kg) for men.”
I’ve worked ICU for almost 30 years. Even with emaciated old people I’ve never used a 5/8” needle for IM injections, it’s too short.
