360-370 right now, but I slowed down on lower due to patella tendinitis.

Feeling better recently, but I doubt I push it to go higher than 405.

I love all the ‘I used to squat 400 lbs 15 years ago posts.” And the back in high school I squatted 500lbs arse to grass.

Currently, I can definitely do 4 plates (405), I don’t put anymore than that on bar. That is typically for 3-5 reps once every month or so just to switch it up.

College football days, 565 for a double was most ever. NEVER AGAIN!

Fun fact I remember, on my college team, the best athletes cleaned the most or a lot compared to their body weight. I don’t think that was an accident.

I haven’t done a true max out in a couple of years. Last time I tried I hit 465. However, I did squat 415 recently for reps.

I don’t know. I haven’t maxed in awhile.

But this time last year 225 was pretty close to my 1RM and I was able to hit it 10x last week.

So I would guess my 1RM these days is probably in the low to mid 300s.

Haven't maxed in a while but based off progress on my amrap sets, prolly getting close to the 4 plate mark for the first time in 15 years.

Hit 435 for three sets of five earlier in the year. Haven’t squated in awhile because I can’t target quads that well with them. I feel it mostly in ham/glute tie in along with adductors.

I hit 455 in the 10th grade of high school twice.

Maxed out 315 19 times my Senior year.

Now in my 40s, my goal is to max on uninterrupted bodyweight squats with strict form and depth, not as easy as it sounds.

Also, while I believe most people in this thread.......

When I used to workout in commercial gyms there weren't many guys going further than 3 plates. Even in the college athlete gym back in those days, outside of football linemen, some of the LBs, and all of the T&F throwers (them dudes were crazy strong), I didn't see too many guys putting up 350 plus.

Generally, any man or woman that can squat a minimum of at least 275 or 1.5 times their bodyweight with good form is definitely a strong individual.

I hit a Front Squat of 295 about 10 days ago which is about 40lbs off my max. If I start squatting again, I could get it back to 315+ easily.

Back squat is currently 50-60lbs over my Front Squat right now.

Understood and honestly that's the typical norm. But you have to understand how CrossFit and the renewed interest in the barbell lifts has changed a lot of things. Plus most on here are concerned with strength and conditioning, much more so than typical gym goer.

My last attempt was pretty shaky but the old man can still pull two 30 packs of Natty Light from the lower shelf of the beer cooler.

I would say 70% of the men at my Crossfit gym can hit a 1 RM of 315

The ones that can’t are either brand new to lifting or tiny or older

I also see what new members think a full depth squat is. Guys that come from a globo gym have no clue how to hit depth.
