Does it make you mad that I can do something? You are stronger than me if it makes you feel better.

No one is mad, we just think you’re full of shite.

100 push ups in 2 min is an impressive feat but saying in one breath that you can do it and, in another, you won’t prove it, just reeks of bullshite.

I mean I've been on this board since it started. I train every day and can bench nearly twice my body weight. I do at least 50 pushups daily (usually 100), so quite frankly I don't give a frick what you think.

Not really, I'm just not going to put a video of myself on this site. Only bad things can come to that for what? To prove to you that I can do pushups, again I don't give a frick if you believe me or not.

225 x 10. No reason for me to lift any weight above 225lbs it doesn't serve any purpose in my life.

has no bearing on if you can do 100 in 2 min. Doesn't mean shite. 100 in 2 min without knee touching is a very impressive feet.

The only way bad things happen is if you are a bad person in real life. I have posted plenty of things on here without a problem

Maybe this was accurate then but I just dont think it now, especially the college athlete part. There isnt a kid on LSU that couldnt squat 3 plates. and for normal gym goers, 3 plates isn't much for someone on a good squat program that squats regularly.

I agree with the first part and it was probably the same back then, however based on visual observation not many of the smaller speed guys were going into the mid-to-upper 300s.

I do disagree that 315 for reps isn't much for a regular gym goer, I think that's really impressive. If the average male is 5-9 and 195, that is more than 1.5x bodyweight. Obviously that is not elite strength for serious lifters, but awesome for everyone else, especially with good form and depth.

I guess my statement was based on guys that actually squat regularly. Not so much the guy that goes into the gym & doesn’t know what he’s doing or goes for 3 months out of the year

Weight jumps fast for anyone that squats regularly, and I just don’t think 315 is that much. The 350-360’s would be more of a number a little less attainable for the average joe but hey I respect you guys opinion. I just don’t agree

I definitely respect your opinion on this as well and think its awesome yall have a gym and programming that produces a lot of good squatters.

Out of curiously, what would you say is the range of women in the gym that squat very heavy. I've only see a small handful of women squatting 3 plats and all but 1 were either very large (200 lb +) powerlifters or using "supplements".

Damn man. You have got to be so confused about why this happens to you. I couldn't create a more miserable frick of a board presence if I tried.

what is 3 plates with a female bar, 305?

i dont think we have any girls doing that much. Probably none over 250 or so.

Just looking at the log, Several are doing 2x their body weight(5-6) and many 1.5x body weight (8-10). Not everyone is entered in though and some of these weights could be old

Our girls/ladies just want squats to be over. There might be a little competition going on between a couple of them, but they do not push themselves.

We haven't done a 1 rep max ever at our place. Based upon the last time we did sets of 3 with 4 seconds down, the calculator says I can squat 339. We don't have those safety deals like my HS gym had, and I am not interested in dropping the weight from that position, so I may never do a 1 rep max ever again.

I hate today's workout, so I may do some back squats as a part A and see what happens.

We have maybe 3 girls who are close to a 300lb back squat.

The majority of them aren’t there to push themselves to competition level.
