Bro your deads have been shooting up like crazy. By next summer you are going pulling 500, squating 450 and benching 315.

I am on an unscheduled deload this week due to be sick, but starting back on 531 on Sunday.

Everyone can belong here if they follow the guidelines...

LIFT HEAVY
GET BIG
GET STRONG AS frick
NO CARDIO

..and I’m talking about pounding pavement for 5 miles per day. You can get great cardio work in heavy lifting, you just have to know how to do it.

Active cardio between sets: Bench steps for 30 sec - 60 secs is all you need.

They make me do it. I can't just walk out for the B part of the WODs. Although, I'd really like to

It was a joke.

We want this thread dedicated to heavy lifting, getting stronger/big (goes hand in hand) and discussions of overall advanced training techniques to achieve those goals.

I think you need to apply deez nuts to the weights consistently and thoroughly. When you've done that enough that the weights know who's boss, you're accepted.

What are y'alls thoughts on Intense programs vs Volume programs for competition style sports ie powerlifting, weightlifting, boxing.....

Something like Sheiko vs Westside

Pretty simple this thread was made for the guys who want a place to post a log and ask questions to other guys that are doing legit strength and conditioning programs and not deal with all the bullshite that happens in the other threads. With what has happened with the board lately with the pissing matches, the ridiculousness of the some of the bullshite people have been promoting this thread was needed badly.

Is the other lifting thread bad or something?

I’ve only seen the squabbling in the diet threads, not really in the workout threads.

We have specific threads for lifting, crossfit, and running now. Everyone has seemed to have found their place.

Now we need another thread for lifting but for super serious lifters only?

Seems kinda odd.

Maybe I should start a thread for only sub 18 min 5k runners

I think it should be renamed to something like advanced exercise thread or something more catchy. I was just tired of seeing beginning level talk. I want to talk about some advanced techniques and stuff. Maybe the logs can stay in the daily logs.

HARDCORE LIFTERS don't "put things down"! We drop the weights for maximum noise. That way we establish our territory in the gym and make others meek with our manliness.

Joke thread.

I think some of the serious lifters are tired of the beginners mucking about with their broscience knowledge.

No, it's the lack of interesting topics.

These types of topics are just plain uninteresting

Lifting once a week
Testosterone Pellets
Supplements that actually work
165lbs and still fat

Where is the Blood Flow Restriction, Intensity vs Volume, Keto vs Carnivore vs Vegan vs Traditional diet in sports performance with actual studies...

I can point you in multiple directions on where to start, but it boils down to this:

At 5-6 135, your main goal is to eat more, lift more, and toss in some active cardio.

Supplements should be secondary for you right now.

I wasn't talking about myself, I was pointing out how douche your statement is.

You seem like the guy that bitches that there is a fat guy at the gym even though he stays completely out of your way.
