I am excited to announce the recent opening of a new thread for serious lifters only. One that screens applicants as to their pursuit of a professional or amateur title. If they have no such aspirations, they are rejected!

Indeed, I have invited numerous pro bodybuilders to join, and anticipate being the subject of an upcoming feature in 'Muscular Development', 'MuscleMag', or 'Flex'!!.

It’s simple: 'LIFT HEAVY OR GO HOME', a motto I learned some years ago. No med balls. No aerobics area. No bikes. A few running machines. Lots of free weights. Buckets of chalk next to all racks.

A hardcore lifter's paradise!!

We won’t admit just anyone. No marathoners or cardio turds.

Any goals, other than...

LIFT HEAVY
GET BIG
GET STRONG AS frick
NO CARDIO... (Unless cutting for a show or the summer)

...will get summarily ignored and/or laughed out of this thread.

No this is where you don't have the keto guys coming in telling you that if you eat a piece of fruit you will die. Or the cardio guys saying that you must run 2 miles a day to be healthy or the 135 lbs guys saying they just want to look like Brad pit in fight club


This is exactly for guys like you to post what they are doing without the bullshite we see in all the other threads.

We don't do aerobics we do conditioning with a purpose and goal in mind for performance no more bullshite working out just to say we did, to say we got a sweat on. No more bullshite without a plan to improve performance.


Pretty simple this thread was made for the guys who want a place to post a log and ask questions to other guys that are doing legit strength and conditioning programs and not deal with all the bullshite that happens in the other threads.

With what has happened with the board lately with the pissing matches, the ridiculousness of the some of the bullshite people have been promoting this thread was needed badly.

How have you been handling the heat in your home gym? I've been miserable. If this happens again next year, I might get a gym membership for a few months in the summer. It has killed my want to go outside.

My garage is insulated with spray foam and my doors are insulated so it hasn't been bad. I'm used to it too.
