Just from reading this thread, I get the feeling that our place should be called CrossfitLight.

I went to the other one and it didn't seem any different program wise-I just didn't like the coaches as much and hated the no A/C. I don't think we have many soccer moms. Maybe the early morning crew, but I never go then. One gal that could be called a soccer mom lifestyle wise is a machine. I have to check the board to make sure my lifts are higher than her's There are times when her WOD times are half mine.

Wait, you have A/C????? Do you have heat in the winter?
We fight for position under the BAF so at least there is some breeze.
Seriously . . . A/C??????? WTH??????

Side effects are over blown but unless you are making a living from fitness, it's stupid to out your body through PED use. Today's sarms are no different than steroids btw.
Yeah I agree. I’m not about to get a contract for my deadlift. No point in someone like myself getting on that.

I'm going to publicly proclaim that Crossfit with A/C is not real crossfit (while secretly being jealous).
That being said, working out this time a year in a metal building with no A/C is a special experience. As it is when it is freezing and the barbells are so cold that they hurt to take them off the rack. Nothing like starting a workout bundled up like an arctic excursion and then ending up sweating in shorts and tshirt.

Sounds moronic, I love our a/c and heated gym.

I chuckled.
Training in extreme temps really only benefits you if you need to perform in extreme temps. No point in tiring/dehydrating yourself unnecessarily. I don't have to, so I prefer my crossfit gym to be climate controlled. I like getting more work in as opposed to getting a heat stroke.

but Sarms aren't regulated or produced under controlled standards right? At least if you are prescribed steroids through a Dr. for hormone therapy or even if you are getting them for performance those should be from pharmaceutical companies being produced according to a standard....

I don't care what any hater says, I love having A/C. They still have us running outdoors and stuff at times, and will have the huge door open when that's the case.. so it's still hot af at times. Last Friday our running WOD was brutal..

I truly feel sorry for the guys that work out at gyms with no A/C
the gym that I work out in Alex occasionally doesn't have A/C and it fricking sucks
both my regular gyms have A/C

I enjoy no AC. It’s raw & empowering but I’ll agree with your premise. But it makes doing any type of outdoor activity in the LA heat a piece of cake. If I’m going to sweat AC isn’t going to do anything for me

In the winter, we all go outside to lay down and cool off.

99% of steroids aren't coming from a doctor though. only testosterone and hgh are really available. You might be able to get deca but its very very rare. most are coming from unregulated underground labs.
