I'm going to sweat even if I work out in a walk-in freezer. Still, the last couple of weeks have been brutal, especially if the workout starts with something like an 800m run in the sun at 4:30.

We have garage doors on both sides and a BAF so there is some air movement. That probably dries up the puddle of sweat that forms around me quicker than in an A/C room.

Plenty of sweat angels around after every workout.

Google it.

Also, it looks like there is an Orange Theory in Shreveport if any of the North Louisiana people want to try it.

I don't like those rowers. Looks like they won't pop up in the front when I overpull in an attempt to impress people with my rowing strength and my ability to waste effort to make a rower wheelie which doesn't translate to calories or meters.

This may be too judgmental, but I tend to think of Orangetheory as the place fad workout enthusiasts go when they exhaust Crossfit.

I didnt realize jeff prejean owned South bank. Really, he writes bad workouts? That is interesting

the owner of CF alexandria was in my L1 class getting renewed. I send my wife there when she is there for work. She likes it

Not only does he not write bad work outs, he doesn't write any workouts.

I don’t think Jeff programs the workouts there. I’ve been to CFSB a lot and Prejean normally does his own ‘competitor’ programming. Jeff is a great dude and when I went there, there were some studs but that gym is very top heavy. A few elite guys, and a TON of soccer moms.

I’m not sure if he even coaches any of the classes anymore. Lisa probably does most of the programming if they don’t outsource it.

He doesn't program. He does his own thing. He will coach from time to time, but it's rare. I've had him call me out from across the room.

i want to say a few years ago a guy at our gym was doing programming the Jeff wrote. Figured he wrote the programming there. If he's the owner and the programming is for soccer moms, i dont see the point in going there

Good programming starts high & you scale down if needed. Just my opinion.

i dont get it at all

and from an owner's perspective, it has to add significantly to the over head i would think to cool such big spaces

Foot knows more about this as he was a member when Jeff was doing the program.

I don’t think he’s doing the programming there but it’s go some legit programming. It’s most likely outsourced like 90% of all CF programming.

I just think their clientele is largely soccer moms and stay at home wives so there’s obviously a lot of scaling. Jeff goes hard and he’s like 40 and making th games every year so he knows what he’s doing.

Heath does most of it with some one offs developed by the other coaches.

I go to three of the classes. I know the clientele very well.
