They start today. Will anyone give Fraser a run?

I know it’s higly unlikely but I hope Cody Anderson and Emily Bridges win.

Does anyone else think the marathon row is stupid?

I don't know about stupid, just think it is the most awful workout I could possibly imagine

I don't know how you would be able to recover from that in a day...

...well, I do know, just that isn't something we are supposed to talk about...

It certainly wont be entertaining to watch........but I cant imagine rowing for that amount of time.

Id like to see Cassidy Lance Mcwherter (sp?) make a run on the womens side. Or Annie, I always like Annie.

I dont think anyone will touch Fraser.

Im looking forward to the Crossfit Total piece.

Yea I think Fraser wins easily.

When you think about that row being the 4th event it’s has to play in your mind all day long.

I am interested to see the max lifts even though I think some will not go all out.

I told my wife if there is a minimum work requirement I would hit it, get up walk off, and then take last place. The marathon is going to wreck people.

I hope Fraser takes it again.

And Sara Sigmundsdottir

What's the best way to watch?

Whoever recovers the best from that marathon row will win. I’m a Fraser fan but I think event 1&4 are leaning towards Filkowski.

On another note, I’d love to see a 1 mile run/sprint test in the games.

That marathon row IS stupid and seems to fly in the face of Crossfit is supposed to be. Boring as well.

It's time to move on from Castro.

I still can't believe he's survived this long.

I did a half marathon row. It took me a little under 1 hr 30 min. It was miserable

I really dont care for the bike events......seems like youre adding a mechanical element. Vellner popped a chain, Ohlsen lost a pedal.

I guess the same could be said for a rower or assault bike too though.

Watched the Criterium.

Vellner was screwed when a chain popped off early, but that could have been him shifting incorrectly and a not a bike issue.

Ohlsen was screwed by equipment failure. The right pedal came completely off his bike. They are wearing cycling shoes and the pedal was stuck to his foot. He had to stop, get a new bike, kick the old pedal off his foot and start going again.

Local guy Brandon Luckett was lapped and struggled.

The more I see of Castro, the more he comes off as a sadist. I have no respect for that guy.

Also, local guy in masters 35-39 division Justin King came 11 out of 20 in the battleground. He had a slip up right at the end that cost him a couple positions.

Mayhem Freedom with the event 1 win.....

Hewett looked a little thicker than usual to me in their interview.

After watching the crit looked like Fraser almost wrecked on the last turn. Could have been nasty.

1 reply for the first reference.

Don't think anyone touches Fraser. Like Tia, Katrin and Sara, but obviously only know the most popular ones so dark horse suggestions for the girls are welcome.

Blows my mind he was a navy seal

But he loves attention so it makes sense

There is a video of him back in the day demoing workouts for a seal fit plan
