It would be tough for him. He will be 32 at this time next year; everyone else will be 5-10 years younger in the Men’s Open category.

...but, if there is someone at that age who can do it, it’ll be him.

Bicouplet 2
Fraser was 3:10.36
Froning was 3:17

...but Froning knew he had it because he was racing Jared Stevens in his heat for 1st and had passed him after the round of 9 MUs. Froning broke up the Snatches 7-5, 5-4 and 3-3.

I’m a Froning guy but I believe Fraser’s dominance has been more impressive bc the field has gotten so much more better in this era than it was even 5 years ago.

And he's handed it to the deeper field.

I wonder how pissed Dave and Crossfit HQ get that a Nike athlete is wrecking shop

Imagine how much better he would be if he was in the gear he spends all year training in

To open the games Wednesday they had a Fraser tshirt jersey for sale on their website.

It's no longer available.

I'm curious if his Nike deal has anything to do with it.

I wonder how hard Froning goes at the Open. He was 10th this year.
We’ll never know, but I think he would still be in the running for the individual podium at the Games.

It would be interesting to see them in the Masters against each other, if they do it. Unless Fraser is still dominating the young guys at 35 years old.

Did anyone see the Greg Glassman announced they’re going to allow Transgender athletes compete in whatever division they identify. He announced it Friday, IMO so it would be overshadowed by the games.

He said on his podcast last week that he didn't do any of the open workouts more than once this year. He just took his first score and let it fall where it may.

Sooooo, doesn't most transgender people take some type of hormones? Hormone therapy isn't supposed to be allowed........ this should be fun!

Just create a trans division and let who ever wants to juice compete in that one.

That’s probably the trap he just laid for them. Lol.

It would be a perfect chess move by Glassman to “allow” them to compete and then drug test them to ban them from any competition.

Froning would never come back as an individual athlete. It would be like MJ coming back from retirement. I kind of tarnishes his legacy.

Probably not too much since CF has an active lawsuit against Reebok at the moment. Sponsorship could be up for grabs for Nike to snag within the next few years.
