Never played this course but it sounds like at the minimum they got a free 2 million dollar renovation out of the deal.

If only this went on prediction markets when they booked it. I'd be getting investigated for inside information with how much money I woulda put down. (I had no inside info)

JimLIVTiger will arrive soon to assure us that this “is all part of LIV’s Master Plan!”

This sounds like it is a Louisiana call & not a LIV call.

Sounds like a LIV problem to me

But it’s not a problem for LIV Virginia, Korea, or Spain?

The state is postponing the event is not a LIV problem. Seems like there's other issues at play (maybe the course won't be ready?) so they're looking for an out.

Hey, if the Zurich wants a better spot on the PGA schedule and to still be a tournament on tour, state of Louisiana better cancel LIV.

the course is open now. The driving range is the bulk of the renovation not the course.

I think it would be naive to say this isn’t a LIV problem. If host sites are concerned enough about the funding to cancel events, how do you think someone like Bryson feels about a new contract?

This is coming from the state of Louisiana government…. Nothing from Virginia (DC), New York, Indy, or Michigan. Other countries governments have already announced dates for their 2027 event

Oh don’t start this again
