Are we sure that’s not still the case?
Ryan French would lose a decent amount of credibility here if he’s wrong. Flushing It wouldn’t be impacted as much if he was wrong.

Is it possible that the plug is pulled by the end of the season? Sure. Are there any facts that it's "imminent"? No. Even if the Telegraph report is correct, an emergency meeting doesn't mean the league is folding today.

Trump closed the straight to cut LIV funds off, PGA will pay him back by returned to Trump courses

Yes. The meeting happened yesterday or Monday & they are in Mexico for the LIV event today

The initial report said that indications were LIV Mexico City was still going to happen but that they wouldn’t be shocked if that was the last event LIV holds.
Even that would be stunning (for them to not finish out the season) but the fact that LIV Mexico City is on track to tee off in no way refutes the original report. If anything it’s a little suspicious that all of the LIV twitter accounts (flushing it, Luke Elvy, etc) have all very noticeably not said that LIV is planning to finish its season normally. Rather just that LIV Mexico City is on track.

Do we know that they are ALL in Mexico? I think all we know as that LIV executives/representatives were in New York at some point, and now it's reported that LIV executives/representatives are in Mexico.
We don't really know names.

Alan Shipnuck just tweeted that he’s hearing (from an agent of a player) that the rumor is the Saudis are looking to use the war as a force majeure to end all existing LIV contracts and obligations. Caveat that he’s admitting it’s a rumor of a rumor.
But would explain how it would shut down almost immediately.

Alan shipnuck is reporting nothing is definite but he has heard from a “tapped in” player agent that the Saudis want to use the war as “force majure” to pull the plug on LIV.

Shipnuck and Corrigan are not only real reporters but have been some of the most plugged in, arguably “pro LIV” mainstream golf reporters over the past few years.
To have them both immediately give credence to the rumors this morning I think makes pretty clear that this isn’t just being made up by twitter from nothing.

If tweet fails to load, click here. Not at all surprising, but the Golf Channel (that refuses to give fair coverage to LIV) is wishcasting a shutdown with vague tweets.

At least Bayou Oaks got a new driving range out of it.
That the state paid for lmao

lol Laura Loomer tweeted that PIF pulled all of its funding and LIV Mexico will not go ahead.
God only knows where she’s pulling that from and whether she has any actual info. But LIV Golf getting Loomered is objectively hilarious for a multitude of reasons.

Speaking of that driving range, it's pretty hilarious that the state spent an insane amount of money SODDING the entire range.
Not just the hitting area. The entire range out to like 330 yards got resodded instead of seeded lmao. Probably quadrupled the expense of redoing the range.

Not the most confidence inspiring statement
Seems like someone as high up as Sergio should be able to say “that’s stupid as shite. We aren’t folding”

Eh, I don't look into that one way or the other. Seems that they haven't been told anything, and Sergio is just saying that he only knows what Yasir said before the season started.
