Wasnt planning on getting this, but now I def won't unless one day I beat inquisition.

I watched a little of Cohhcarnage stream today. When it's two hours in and he's already giving a game some guff, that's a big warning sign to me. The dude typically tries very hard to give games the benefit of the doubt.
My wife loves the Dragon Age games and will probably get it anyway, but she's gonna have to spend her own money for this one

Cohh has changed a lot in the last couple of years because he has taken a consulting job on a game. He went from always trying to find good things about games to constantly complaining about quality of life features. His original Cyberpunk run he spent no less than 10 hours complaining that they didn't have a transmog system. I'm old. I play a lot of games. I think I have played 2 games that had a transmog system.
He constantly nitpicks and his catchphrase is "that's unfortunate."
Having said that, Cohh is ultra liberal. He wouldn't play Hogwarts Legacy because of the Rowling backlash. So he is boxed in a bit. He doesn't want to be boxed in with the anti-trans group so he will bend over backwards to be positive about this game even if he hates it.
I will be interesting to see if he finishes the game. He started out saying that he is only interested in the story but from Skill Ups review it sounds like it takes 48 hours to get to the good stuff.

That didn't happen.
I did point out that all of those elements did actually exist in that time period, women did serve, and buried the tired argument of "these games build on realism" by pointing out rendezook.
ETA Historical accuracy seems to only be important if it involves a woman or a black person. It's a pattern.

If simpboy is sucking off the devs of a game like he is here, that's a gigantic red flag for me to not buy the game.
