It got repetitive, which was it's biggest flaw.
It definitely got the characters and the tone right.
DA2 had amazing writing and characters, probably better than origins. It's flaw was the lazy level design. But then I found out the entire game was made in a year. Timeline like that, and you are going to need to cut corners

In Portugal, we do not say forma in this sense, fórmula, sure, not forma. Funny that it also uses the male "do" for Bioware, a company, when we usually use the genderless "de".
I do wonder if they gave these reviewers a template to copy from and they just badly translated them.

I also speak Portuguese, but from Brazil, and I have to agree with you. This phrase sounds way too weird. Clearly it sounds like someone from EA demanded for this kind of wording to be in the review.

Started Matty's video, one thing he addressed was how big he was on this game during the preview. He said EA and/or Bioware were intentionally deceptive about what parts of the game they were playing. Where he ended up at in the preview with what he was told was the end of Act 1 was actually in Act 9, about 75% through the game.

Seems kind of silly they withheld review codes for any reviewers that gave honest reviews from the preview event.

On console, the fact that the game runs at either 720p 60 FPS or 1080p 30 FPS is disgusting to me

The pronoun apology scene is ever worse. No for me. This is trash. Once again, I liked Hogwarts Legacy. I didn't care about the trans bartender. This is hamfisted trash written by someone with zero talent.... but sooooo brave.

Most of the positive reviews revolve around that. Typically they say:
-Combat is meh
-Story is weak
-art style is weak
-lacks compelling companions
-100fps

After the fact.
Matty already had to deal with what I think I was someone leaking embargoed gameplay footage under a fake account under his name, had to deal with EA to sort it out. So he was none too thrilled that grummz decided to run with a "leaked" NDA claiming it was from him.
Grummz could have easily confirmed if that was real or not, but he's so eaten up to try to find the next woke conspiracy that he couldn't wait.
