Gotta love the people here quick to get angry and accusatory towards the wife while not getting mad at the guy that cheated on his wife.

Agree, Tomy. People on Reddit are defending him too. It's nuts to me.

Go to /justneckbeardthings and that's the mindset that drives most message boards: usually the woman's fault for pretty much everything, their main offense being not being ready for sex at a moments notice.....or not wanting to sleep with them period.

yes, he confirmed to get clicks, watches and subs.

this song and dance has been used 100 times.

my favorite was the guy losing yahoo money and said he has to live a 100K(year) life, and then started crying.

If your wife just doesn't wanna sleep with you period then there's issues in that relationship to start with.

We don’t know that his wife made him do this. A friend suggested he may have been blackmailed, so he just went out and admitted it on stream so the blackmailer wouldn’t be able to release whatever she had on him. Plausible. He wouldn’t be the first person to take this approach.

This doesn’t make sense. If a chick is blackmailing you then you go up front with your wife about it and explain you cheated and a chick is blackmailing you. The “I am going to beat this to the punch by going nuclear and have the worst case scenario happen” is idiotic.

Very much so.

And FTR, that's still not an excuse to cheat.

You think his live confession was the first time his wife heard about it?

Hardly. This way he would control the narrative himself, instead of having to respond to it. This is a common approach to famous people being blackmailed.

I just don’t see it.

He isn’t controlling the narrative. If there are sordid details then they can still come out.

The main leverage would be the wife finding out. If she already knows then the public finding out is a much smaller secondary piece. Famous people cheat all the time. He isn’t a pastor, conservative politician or anything. Him broadcasting it makes it a bigger deal than a chick saying “whoever this guy is cheated with me”.

I don't know what is better and not trying to argue for either of you guys points but by him coming out first it makes him look more apologetic.

A I am sorry after the world knows doesn't sound as good as a I am sorry from your mouth first. It just comes off more genuine.

No doubt was getting a head of the game, but he also has a pic of him in bed with Devour which is a food sponsor. Maybe pub related....if it is then he is a solid actor.

Who knows, but ive lost more respect out of the fact he was wearing a flatbill than anything.

Well, I'm not sure why this has become such big news, but I'll never wish for a marriage to get torn apart. Can only hope that things get patched up for them and their family.
