All of my friends and the people I play with online are sticking with Xbox One so I will as well. Really don't see why people are hating on it so much.

Because you can't be cheep and buy used games anymore? Or you can't sell your games away? I have no problems with these things because A) I'm not cheap and B) I don't buy games with the intention of selling them later. And I'm not a paranoid person so I have no problem with the camera and mic being on all the time. Tell me reasons why I shouldn't be in favor of it.

yes thats exactly what a big backlash voicing concerns is. Telling the consumer that we are taking your choice of options when it comes how you will game and people getting mad in reaction is so sheep like

so people who like to offset cost of a new game by trading old ones in should have that option taken away from them. When it comes to games like fifa and ncaa i like to bring back the previous years edition along with some other game to bring the cost down. You can be an elitist and call it cheap but ill call it being smart with my money. shite in college thats how i got by with getting games big time.

-xbone is allowing you to trade in games to participating retailers. Gamestop (most everyone's favorite trade in spot) will no doubt be a part of this process. They have too much to lose to be left out. Any restrictions on the game after that are up to the publisher.

I know. Plus everything that the Xbox One is offering is much better. Online community, I really like the television functions and their games overall are just better IMO. The only game Playstation has that i wish Xbox had is The Show. Other than that I can't think of anything.
I think all of the features the Xbox One has are very innovative and I'm excited for the purchase.
The only thing that Sony has to offer is being able to sell and buy used games. And I just don't see why paying $5 less than full price is such a massive deal for anyone.

lets hope they are but im sure it will be deal that would be super in favor of MS. Consumers like having multiple options b/c its good for competition. Just like the people saying they hope xbox goes down in flames are dumb, one needs to be around even if its role is smaller to get the other guy honest.

Exactly why EA Sports is so shatty when it puts out NCAA football games. No competition anymore so they can put out a crap product and they know they will still sell because it's the only product out there.

no one really knows this yet, XBL was way better than PSN but the paid service for ps3 was very good and miles ahead of the free version. Sony has the ground work laid in place for either direction the gaming industry goes. Once we get to see the full implementation of these features for both systems then we can say who offers a better service

That's my understanding.
And I think I also read somewhere that you can have a sharing library or something where you can let 10 friends or so borrow your games from your library for a certain amount of time. Kind of like Nook does the book lending.
I am a big fan of digital downloading.
