The point is USB hubs doesn't mean they can't block it.

Would be nice if neither console does though.

Yeah, but is it worth the hassle? My dad won it through a work function and I'm not even sure there was/still is a receipt.

They'll want the serial number off the unit. You don't use receipts for manufacturer warranties. I've had cases of being well outside warranties and they helped me out.

I would assume this is due to the relatively limited amount of RAM on the PS3.

Like stout said..not the case with the PS4.

Oh, I would never bother with it personally. Whatever tiny benefit you'd get, if any, wouldn't be worth it.

You are talking about a system with 512MB of memory there though vs one with 8GB of GDDR5.

An SSD will not speed the PS4 up at this point IMO. I would put money on it.

is about $330

You know how many games you could buy that you would be able to trade in for less than half of what you paid for them for $330?

I don't really buy many games, use Gamefly mostly unless it has real replay value like a great multiplayer.

I did order the PS4 + BF4 bundle though, BF4 is worth the $60 and I'll play it religiously for a long time.

Yea I can't wait to pre-order for at the most $50 and possibly $40.

How?

ETA Oh you mean play on PC. Gotcha! Because no way you find a console copy of that game for pre-order for less than $60

Not unless you have the option to install full games to the hard drive.

Oh to be able to replace the XBox One drive with an SSD

You will but it still won't matter. A console game is designed to preload and with 8GB of GDDR5 they can now preload even more at a time. It won't be like waiting on the dedicated 256MB on current consoles to catch up to the HDD load speeds.

I'll be getting ahold of them shortly.

And, I just got an update email from Best Buy. Bumped my purchase(XB1) from Dec 31st to Nov 30th.
Shits. Getting. Real.

Any game with a "loading please wait" screen would benefit, not to mention the initial load time of the games.

What I am getting at is a lot of that was due to lower ram in the other systems. Not just the HDD loading speed.
