sooo what i am hearing is that it is only a matter of time before the allegations of sexual harassment of waitresses and female cooks start flying....
i have heard of the turkey in the straw before, just never been down that way for lunch, so never have had the inclination to go try it.
Now, CCBBQ, i will drive from kenna for. And it is a good Jesuit boy that owns it and does not have all of these crusade du jour hang ups. And if only Uglesich's were still around....one can dream.

No one really tried to cancel him. Mel, self appointed truthsayer of NOLA service industry, started an instagram account to spill some tea.
Went after T&W for employing one black guy, then trying to equate it to slavery or some shite. The T&W black guy set Mel straight about how/why he had his job.
Was quite comical and became the start of the downfall for Mel.
There was also some, I think mardi gras indian/indigenous people, kerfuffle that was pretty funny as well. Basically Mason inadvertently put on an event to honor/apologize/bring awareness to some 'marginalized' group. Due to a lack of research his event conflicted with an event the group was doing on their own.
