This is anecdotal but my buddy who follows the group got a Stagg and ORVW from the Rouses on Vets and Causeway. I know that doesn’t address your main point but it seems there were bottles for the peasants. Both were 2018 releases

A Bourbon Fest pick of Balcones Single Malt and I have a Highwest Bourye. But in the meantime I put the JD on my “just spend the money and get it” list.

Think I tracked down some of that Jack Barrel proof rye in Houston. Looks to be all gone in Nola.

When you say Stagg do you mean Stagg Jr or George T? I have a friend who I think would be interested in either but depending on which one you have would change the trade.
