The last time that I went to one the place smelled like a dirty mop bucket and the floor was so sticky that you had to make a noticeable effort to take a step.

Had one at my hotel on a work trip out to Conway, Arkansas back in like 2016-17. It was gross.

My son was featured on national “Doing Good in the Neighborhood “ commercial for Applebee’s during Sunday Night Football for his work in raising money for pediatric cancer.

They brought us in and set out food and filmed us while we “sort of” ate it.

That was back when he was in HS. I think maybe 7 yrs ago???

There is an Applebee's and a Chili's close to each other. The Chili's is usually very busy where Applebee's is not. It has been over two years since I have gone to an Applebee's.

I was on a business trip with out a car and there was one next to the hotel. It was awful. I feel like they only still exist because chilis isn’t bad so people probably think “how bad can Applebees be?”

I try to avoid every chain as much as humanly possible had a very similar circumstance of being at a airport hotel with no options and went to Applebees in Albany NY a couple of years ago.

Was mainly Hispanic families and Polish construction dudes eating there. Got a burger and fries . Not great but not awful either.

Not since their stupid jingle/commercial came out. Applebee's is fine dining for all Livingston Parish residents, however.

Been 15 years at least. Long John Silvers & Captain D’s, I’ve never & will never. Can’t fathom why they exist.

At least 20 years, but the memory of shitty food covered in too sugary sweet glaze on top of thick, chewy fried batter surrounding a sliver of dry chicken mingled with the smell of stale beer and cigarettes was indelible. I drove past that place, yesterday, in Lewisville, TX and wondered how they are still open.n

occasionally you'll see one right off the interstate. Beat's the hell out of fast food.

That's all I got.

I occasionally meet a friend (him - Bama, me - LSU) and we sit at the bar, blab with Francine the bartender, and eat a lunch sandwich. We talk football afterwards while he drinks a few glasses of wine. He is 82, I’m 73 and we used to work for the same company back in the day. It’s just a place that he likes to visit every Wednesday, talk to Francine, and have some drinks. He is widowed as I am as well.

I don’t care for the food but they don’t mess up a BLT.
