Toast white bread, add creamy peanut butter quickly so it melts, with Doritos and milk.

If I have some leftover fried speck filets and fried shrimp in the fridge from the night before, combo that deliciousness (cold) between two slices of Evangeline Maid bread. Few dashes of Louisiana Products hot sauce.

My go to is Cajun turkey with Gouda... but my favorite to do is when making meatballs and sauce is a meatball sub on French bread

Two fried eggs with cheddar in between them, then toast the bread. Slide that badboy through a puddle of garlic crystal hot sauce.

I call it the cajun melt

Manda Cajun turkey
thin sliced hogs head cheese
honey mustard
relish
pepperjack cheese
two slices of white bread

toast that bad boi in a sandwich press to seal in all the goodness. That sandwich will change your life.

Swap out the honey mustard for some deli mustard and drop the relish and I would crush it

My favorite is turkey, goat cheese, hot cherry peppers, and grey poupon on leidenheimer

Trust me, the honey and relish combo are very important. There’s some serious flavor synergy there that makes it far better than the sum of its parts.

This may sound a little lame, but a grilled PB&J is good. Or a PB&J roll up on a tortilla.

Dark toasted PB & J. Chunky PB or almond butter. Preserves instead of jelly. Great after a run. Then a blowjob.

I've had a bacon PB & J. Its great.

Reubens are my favorite sandwich but I rarely make them, so definitely BLTs when tomatoes are in season with mayo on one side and a little dijon on the other. Try them with watercress instead of iceberg!

A good grilled burger is always welcome.

Grilled YFT with hurricane sauce is another.

Smoked chicken + bacon + garlic mayo is also very good.

Fresh white Bunny Bread, Blue Plate Mayonnaise, several slices of a good ripe homegrown tomato, salt and pepper.

It’s a sink sandwich. Eat over the sink because it will drip down your arms.

Sweet ice tea.

Same bread, crunchy peanut butter, grape jelly and an ice cold glass of whole milk.

When the first big ugly heirloom tomatoes of the season come in, I pull a pack of Benton's bacon out of the freezer, I get three or four big tomatoes, a head of regular old iceberg lettuce, a jar of Duke's mayo, a loaf of plain old white bread, and I just go to town until the bacon is gone.

Behind that, it's a simple Reuben on some really good rye.

I think simple is better with sandwiches. Fewer quality ingredients that play well together beats a bunch of ingredients that just blend into each other. Hence, the simple BLT at the top of my list. Five ingredients that perfectly work together.
