Back when Pinetta’s was owned by the Eastern European family in the 80’s-90’s the shish-ka-bob was my favorite restaurant meal.

They were Italians, but from around Croatia. I used to love their Weinerschnitzel with the riced potatoes they would serve.

I want the Wong family's eggrolls they used to serve at the Chinese Inn on Florida Blvd, next to the old Alamo Plaza in BR.

Rally's/Checkers used to have this burger that had onions and a tangy cheddar sauce on it, was amazing.

Did not know that. I don’t live there anymore. Next time I come in for a game I gotta grab one. Is it as good as the original?

Have them add a fried chicken breast to the sandwich. Life changing.

Yep.. on Sherwood Forest. The Roma Special was one of the best sandwiches ever in BR.

Oh lawd this. I was just looking at Bennigans Monte Cristo.and then saw this.

FYI there’s some decent looking onion loaf/brick recipes out there but haven’t tried any yet.

Almost the entire menu at Kanomwan Thai restaurant in Houston, it closed down several years ago after the owner died.

Covid finally did them after they tried to do takeout only for several months

Actually tried to hunt down the daughter and see if she was interested in selling the recipes

I lived in Singapore about 10 years ago traveled to Thailand countless times, that place was as authentic of Thai food as I’ve ever had

I wouldn't mind an OG DeAngelo's calzone again. Hammond Aire style.
