As upset as you are, you don't know what you're talking about. It's hoppy for a lager, which is what they tend to advertise, but it's still a lager.
Your comment about using more hops per barrel than any other beer in the western hemisphere was admittedly a bold comment in that you really opened yourself up to downside risk, so I have to give you credit. But it's still a bald-faced lie.

You take into consideration the perception of others when choosing a beer?

No, not really. But what I really meant is that it's not "trendy". It just tastes pretty good.

Okay, how about this. Sam Adams uses more hops than any beer in the western hemisphere that is consumed by more than 14 people annually.
If it's your intention to get down into the deep web of craft brews, I'm out. I don't drink them.

Light beer doesn't count as drinking. Once you grow up atleast. It is for the beach day seesions, while doing labor, or if you have to drive later.
Sam Adams is the tits, but it is behind Sierra in the mass produced and availible everywhere awesome taste meter.

People drink light beer to get drunk
If you want to get drunk faster, I recommend drinking 'real' beers which have a higher alcohol content then watered down light beers.

Flavor profiles come from the hops and from the levels of sugar left in the malt after fermenting.

If you think Sam Adams Boston Lager is a "very hoppy" beer then you either don't know what flavors the hops exhibit or you haven't had very many beers
