Shock Top is a good non snobby grass cutting beer.

People drink light beer to get drunk, not to enjoy the taste.

i have a really hard time drinking crappy beer now unless on the beach or right after intense exercise/labor. i've always preferred good beer, but still bought cheap stuff regularly until about a year ago.

i try to get what's on sale that's decent.

e.g., been buying $6.79 6-packs of these the past week (no tax in MT, so just over a buck a beer): LINK

So freaking good, especially for that price. I actually prefer it to a lot of more expensive beers, like Stone.

Light beer is a good softball or beach volleyball beer. It's good anytime it's hot and you're physically active. It's like slightly alcoholic water.

I never really liked beer. When I drank I drank Dewars on the rocks, Absolut on the rocks (3 olives), or shots of Grand Marnier.

I only drank alcohol to get buzzed/drunk. Beer never did it for me. While a lot of folks enjoy a beer with a pizza, I always preferred a Diet Coke.

Me and a my fellow Cannuck's like to knock back Molson, Moosehead, and Labatt's while watching hockey. While it's not craft it's much better then Bud & Bud Light.

What is the attraction to light beer?

It's not necessarily light beer. It's American light pilsners. They are awful. The Germans/Belgians make the best beer in the world.

I've never met a beer I wouldn't drink. Beer snobs are the worst. IMO people who are judgmental about the type of beer they or other people drink are boring little bitches. I'd rather drink a beer with someone who doesn't give a frick

It's a lager. This is 100% wrong.

Do you even know what a lager is, moron? There are two types of yeast. Lager (bottom fermenting, requiring cold temps) and ale (top fermenting, able to ferment at room temperature). Flavor profiles come from the hops and from the levels of sugar left in the malt after fermenting.

Sam Adams uses more hops per batch than any beer in the western hemisphere.

I've been on a Guiness draught kick all winter.
Less calories than a Budweiser too.

i don't drink beer unless I go out to bars.

I like Yuengling.

I see people mainly drinking Bud Light, Yuengling, and Miller Lite when I go out.

other than that, I like to shoot Tequila or Crown.

I guess I just put away so many Bud Lights in my early 20's I got tired of it.

I tried craft beer once. Just so happens I haven't had it anymore since then.

im a wine guy. i do occasionally like a beer and i pounded some fricking beers back in my teenage years.

shite like natty light and bud light is a lot more ascertainable to teenagers who can hit up a local 7-11 with their older brother's driver's license than shite you have to go get at a place like spec's or HEB.
