I need to settle a debate with a so-called “Cajun.”

Going strictly from picture looks like an etoufee or creole. More info is needed

Can’t really give the backstory. This is purely a looks thing. Just need a general answer.

I’m going to say it looks most like a stew without potatoes.

If you put a gun to my head, I guess I'd call it a shrimp creole.

So it's a jambalaya, crawfish pie, or file' gumbo?

It looks like you mixed together etouffee and creole.

Looks like an etouffe but no idea what’s in it

Some sort of stew likely with tomatoes, maybe run thru an immersion blender, over rice with chunks of meat

My official guess is a crawfish and white meat chunk curry. But it may just be a goulash.

A crawfish and shrimp concoction? Doesn’t look like a stew in my world, maybe etoufee? Either way, it’s something I would eat.

Ight I was told this was a “stew.” I said it is without a doubt not a stew and that it’s an Etoufee.
