And whoever suggested Court of Two Sisters has some bad taste too.

Antoine’s is the poster child for terrible restaurants that allegedly used to be great.

Camellia Grill was always a good eat after a night of heavy drinking.

In the world, there’s only one
Antoine’s
Mary Ann calls restaurants like this “old farteries,” but most people call them grande dames.

I had dinner At Galatoire’s last night and it was way better than I remembered. Everyone in the party was highly impressed.

Not one mention of Irene's.

Food there is not really going to blow anyone away, but I've never felt it was anything but really solid for what they do.
It's probably one of the only old garde places I can say that about (seems like I've had mediocre meals at all the others). Of course, I'm someone who doesn't really hate any of them, though. I still appreciate them for what they are.

I don't think of Irene's as being "old school". It's Bayona era early 90's

Gautreau’s is great but I’ve never thought of it as old school New Orleans.
