I definitely like the finer things in life but sometimes it's just hard to beat a good breakfast at Waffle House. Cheesesteak Melt with an order of hashbrowns, smothered and covered.

I was coming back from Corpus last week and needed a cup of coffee about 3pm so I stopped somewhere other side of Lafayette and had coffee and one of the best cheeseburgers I’ve had in a long time.

I’m a Waffle House fan.

Steak and eggs. Chunked, peppered, covered.

If you’ve never tried one, try a pecan peanut butter waffle. LEGIT

Word. I always get a pecan waffle. The waffle is thin so the pecan pieces get toasted on the waffle iron. People who talk down on WH don't appreciate it for what it is

Scattered, smothered, triple covered, double chunked, and topped. Double order. Side of Tums.

Their steak is too thin for my taste.

Their country ham is great. It's about the only place I know that serves real country ham. Grits are also very good.

Oh, it's thin. I like it instead of the everyday sausage and bacon. If you're hungry I think they have a larger t-bone.

Biggest seller of t-bone steaks of any restaurant in the country. Or at least it once was.

They’re putting a new WH where the old Honey’s pool hall used to be in Gretna. Moving on up.

I love Waffle House. All my friends love Waffle House. I’m not sure where all this hate y’all are talking about is coming from.

Waffle House is great, but it's the trashy people who eat there that make it a terrible place to eat.

Watching someone work the griddle at Waffle House is like watching a fine ballet.

Yep, they just shout all those orders out and depend on the griddle cooks to get it right... and most of the time, they do. That's no easy task.

It’s our Sunday morning tradition. Every Sunday after mass. Now, my kids have convinced me that we should also go every Monday night after gymnastics and soccer too. Little negotiators.

I don't know anybody who "hates" Waffle House

Texas sausage egg & cheese melt
plain hash browns
pecan waffle
black coffee
