Amen.

Texas bacon melt. Double hash, covered and smothered.

Man that Cedarcrest location had all you could eat when I was in college and we hit it twice a week and absolutely loved it. You could only order one thing at a time but we would just hang out. The egg sandwich was a favorite back then.

Their chicken and eggs is the best breakfast known to man.

Scattered
Smothered
Covered
Capped
Diced
Topped

Waffle House would be my last meal before execution.

Bacon, egg, and cheese on Texas toast is the GOAT food to eat while driving.

Just got back. Double cheeseburger, double order of hash browns with chili, cheese, and onions, and a pecan peanut butter waffle, awesome as always. The cook was outside smoking a cigarette when we pulled up. Zero fricks given

That's quite a meal.

Eta the last time I ate at Waffle house I was on acid. Buddy Roemer was at the table next to us. #funfacts

On College Drive. We tripped at a deer camp in Mississippi and had Waffle house when we got back to Baton Rouge.

Steak and eggs

Their steak is too thin for my taste.
It's a breakfast steak. It's supposed to be thin.

Agree.

Let's not forget that this is a busy place. Eggs, meat, hash browns, toast. They all cook in a few minutes. I can almost guarantee you that the thickness of the steaks are by design. They are cut in a manner that cooks no slower than bacon or hash browns.

Why do people say scattered? Does that imply they do something differently I am unaware of or do all hashbrowns come this way?

I'm legitimately unsure... TIA

They put them in a circular ring normally. Scattered is when they just throw them in a pile on the griddle. You get more crust when you order scattered.

All Star special for me. Eggs over medium, bacon, grits, wheat toast, and a pecan waffle. Wash it all down with some chocolate milk.

It's usually the only meal I eat the day I gorge on it though.
