Probably to find out when they are having events that might be non compliant with whatever atc is trying to hit them with.

I know people that own a brewery, but I haven't spoken to them since all of this happened so I don't know if they're getting squeezed as well

You think the Irpn Brewer competition at Tin Roof is still happening today?

The ATC is allowing it to happen because it was already planned. There will just be more rules in place. Only 2oz pours for everyone there. Beers bought in the Tap Room can't come out to the event. And I wouldn't be surprised if a few ATC agents were there monitoring.

Does this mean that event planners for these breweries are out of a job?

The amount of Byzantine minutiae is the heart of the problem. Let the market figure this shite out.

i don't know if i've ever encountered a group that more represents the meme of the petty, self-serving bureaucrat than ATC in LA. if i ever started a church centered around government, these motherfrickers would be the devil

And then the ATC still gave 4 citations today for "illegal" things to Tin Roof. Such as having their logo on the signs that said no outside alcohol allowed. They were also fined for serving beer in their tap room. Apparently this wasn't allowed, but the ATC sent the email saying so to an invalid email address. So Tin Roof nevet got the email. So dumb.

Sounds like they need to take that fine and shove it up their arse, then.

I meant to go to IB today but some other crap came up and prevented me from going. Could be the last one held at TRB..

eta

How does the new enforcement of these laws affect Tin Roof being a venue for things like receptions? Everyone loved having TRB as our venue for the wedding reception

It just sucks because I know TR did everything they thought was possible to comply to the rules they were given.

Hulk, I think wedding receptions are still ok, but the corkage fee yall paid would not be allowed anymore.

Need to call and bitch to the ATC, your representative, the governors office and anyone else you can think of. The ATC was fricking ridiculous today. Something has to be done!
