Best I’ve had. Homemade habaero mango.

Crystal, Louisiana etc don’t have enough heat for me. I agree, Tabasco is not very good. Heat and vinegar is about all I get.

I bought some Grace hot sauce at a country store near our hunting camp a long time ago. It was a Caribbean type (Jamaican?) sauce made with scotch bonnets and habaneros. It was good, hotter than Louisiana or Crystal. Haven't seen it for sale anywhere since then.

Tabasco is great, Cholula is good too. But they aren’t really meant to be the same thing.

Love or hate, must give mad props to Tabasco’s mind boggling marketing and distribution over the last 20 years.

Will keep an eye out for sure Always like to try new ones, to my wife’s disdain (because of taking up so much fridge space). And this is after keeping another dozen in the beer fridge.

Kinda silly to compare tabasco to cholula. They aren't in the same category of hot sauce and compliment different types of food, with some crossover.

I love the heavy vinegar hot sauce that is Tabasco, but have gravitated toward Crystal instead. Crystal is as good or better, and half the price of Tabasco where I shop.

Cholula is awesome though. It's a very balanced sauce and tastes great on many things.

El Yucateco makes a Caribbean style sauce that is hard to find in stores but has been a top 5 of mine for 20 years since I first had it in Isla Mujeres. Eating fish tacos sweating in the heat and just adding more heat with the sauce because it was so damn good.

This is what I'm talkin bout.
I have to order it online because it's so hard to find locally. But I do.

Agree. This picture was taken at a restaurant in Windhoek, Namibia.

This one is great:
Pepper Palace Ghost in the Darkness
ghost pepper, cayenne, and peri peri

Probably #1 if I had to rank, which I don't because tastes vary and apples/oranges. Probably not as versatile as others, kinda thick, but what great flavor and heat. Really good even just over a block of cream cheese.

If I am granted one wish with this thread, it’s that people will stop putting an “s” on the end of Crystal.

Have some self dignity, you animals.

Thank you. Amen.

Texas Pete, Louisiana and Valentina are all I will ever buy. Each distinct and the best for different dishes.

As others have mentioned, Tabasco as a condiment is not very good.

It's best used as pepper vinegar which is great in sauces, soups, and beans.

Tabasco Sriracha is great on everything.
